Interview with new Administrator Silverfox16

You haven't been posting much lately, how's the college search going?

I've been preparing for/taking tests more than looking for colleges. However, I've visited three colleges so far, and they all look interesting.

Do you enjoy being an admin more than being a mod?

Yeah. Instead of having to ask another administrator to go do something for me (such as a global announcement), I can get up and do it myself.

Is being an admin more than you expected it would be?

Yeah. Originally, I thought it was setting up clan forums and changing sigs/avatars. Now I get those plus about a dozen other requests for various other things (I.e. hi can i be a moderizer plz)

Did it come as a surprise to you when you were picked as an admin? Why or why not?

Crud.

I don't really want to answer this question honestly, but...

Ah, well. I thought that I was one of the most hard-working board moderators around at the time and if hiker wanted new administrators, I'd be way up the list. I feel bad for saying that I felt like I deserved it, but after dedicating half my life to the site, I thought I deserved some recognition. (Don't I sound like an egotistical !@#$er?

What do you do when you aren't on Runevillage?

A zillion other things! That's the main reason why I haven't been on recently. I administrate another forum and moderate yet another. I post on three other forums, making it six sites total I visit almost every day. I visit four different video games (all online) every day, making things very busy. After all that gaming and various other activities, it makes it hard to get up and actually work on RV.

How much time on average do you spend on RV daily?

Average total? It used to be I was on four hours a day, six during the summer. Nowadays, I usually come on for about half an hour to answer PMs and clean out the Requests forum (where people beg for administratrors to do stuff)

What do you enjoy doing on the computer other than Runevillage?

See above (Things I'm doing off of RV)
