A group of Zamorakian cultists is performing a dark ritual in the catacombs beneath Lumbridge. Help veteran adventurer Xenia to foil their plot in our new free-to-play quest, and then return to explore our new free-to-play dungeon. New quest guides are out! - Rune Mechanics and Nomad's Requiem
The quest guide for Rune Mechanics has already been released at the end of last month , but today we also uploaded the guide for another Grandmaster Quest - namely "Nomad's Requiem"! We would like to thank Goten for writing, DragonCrusher1 and Rocky Martin for editing and Dark Paladin for uploading the guides!
The Rune Mechanics Quest Guide and the Nomad's Requiem Quest Guide can both be visited from the List of Quest Guides at the top. Good luck with the questing!

March 1 - RVET #30: Skilling Competition IV - Winners Announced!
Last month's skilling competition has ended and the winners have been announced! The winners are the top four attendants that gained the most Hitpoint experience in one week and are the following people:
- Grackman with 1,488,047 XP
- Daed is back with 1,152,601 XP
- Jocund/Lmpaired with 361,683 XP
- Magicana Drofulcus/Cam De Elit with 339,613 XP
Our events team rewards the winners this time with a total of 1.85 million gold pieces. We would like to thank all participants and congratulate the winners once again!

March 3 - Changes to the Hitpoints Skill

Today, we have made significant modifications to the Hitpoints skill, the most important of these being that all 'hitpoints' are now multiplied by 10 and renamed 'life points', and that the name of the actual skill has been changed to Constitution.

March 3 - Improving Success when Smelting Iron (Free and Members)

The smelting of iron ore into bars has been changed to improve your chances of success the higher you train your Smithing skill, from a 50% chance at level 15, up to an 80% chance from level 45 onwards.

From today, when logging into the game, you will notice that the Welcome Screen has been replaced with what we're calling the RuneScape Lobby. The lobby provides more options to you before you log into the game.
