Ape Atoll City Guide

Before I begin I would like to inform everyone of how dangerous this Area is without being in Monkey form. Basically the whole time you are on this Island you are Poisoned, bring alot of Anti-Poison. Don't even attempt to enter the City without the Prayer ‘Protect From Missiles’ on. Everywhere you walk there are Archer Monkeys shooting at you. BRING PRAYER RESTORE POTIONS! Their Enemies are overpowered and Level 15 (I think) Scorpions are able to hit 15+ and Poison you. BRING FOOD! LOTS AND LOTS OF FOOD! Shark or better. You may be able to get by on less but it will require even more. Now that we’ve taken care of that, here’s the Guide....

When you are about half-way into the Monkey Madness Quest you will be able to turn into a Monkey. From then on you have full access to all of the Town's features. However, you can only steal from the Stalls when you are in Human form. This can be quite tricky for some of the Stalls, such as the Scimitar and General Stalls. I suggest using ‘Protect From Missiles’ and some Prayer Potions if you want to steal from these Stalls. However, there is an Altar nearby in the Temple so Prayer Potions are optional. All other Stalls are ok to Thieve without Potions or Prayer.

QUEST RELATED KEY:

B. The Monkey Child is located here. Tell him you’re his Uncle, and then give him some Bananas and tell him there are twenty Bananas there. Run out and wait for his Aunt to circle around. Talk to him again to receive the Monkey Talisman.

C. This is the Prison where you start. Every time you are caught you are put back here, (If your Thieving is high enough you can Pick the Lock and escape).

D. Monkey Dentures can be found by searching the Crates here. The Dentures are used for part of the Monkey Amulet.

E. This is the Entrance to the "Holy Flames". You must craft the Monkey Speak Amulet over them.

F. Karam; Talk to him as soon as you escape from the Prison.

G. Garkor; Talk to him after talking to Karam.
