  1. The Toad and Chicken

This is the Burthorpe Pub. You can buy three different Ales here:

    • Upstairs you can find Harold from the Imperial Guard. You need to Gamble with him to get the Equipment Room Combination for the Death Plateau Quest.
    • Behind the Bar open the Trap Door and go down the Ladder to access the Imperial Guard Safes which are full and ripe for Pick-Locking to build your Thieving Skill. You need to have a steady hand and superb hearing or you will set off the Alarm and receive an Electrical Charge (ZAP!!!) which only gives small amount of damage.
    • Talk to one of the Non-Player Characters along the east Wall and you will gain access to your Bank Account.

  2. Imperial Guard Training Camp

This is the Imperial Guard Training Camp.

In the back Hut you can find Denulth, the head of the Imperial Guard. This is where you start the Death Plateau Quest.

  3. Burthorpe Castle

This is the Burthorpe Castle, home of Eohric.

  4. Burthorpe Supplies

This is the Burthorpe General Store:

  5. Potato Field

Just a Potato Field. There's a Sink inside just in case you want to make some Stew.

  6. Burthorpe Smith

This is the Burthorpe Smith. You need to speak to him to fix the Sherpa's Climbing Boots in the Death Plateau Quest. There is also an Anvil in here.

  7. Tenzing, the Sherpa's House

This is Tenzing's House. You need to do some Chores for him before he gives you the Map for the Death Plateau Quest. Afterwards, he will sell you Hiking Boots.

In the Backyard there are Chickens, Roosters, Potato's, and a Goat named Billy (go figure…).

  8. The Death Plateau

Death Plateau, home of the Trolls. On the way up you are attacked by VERY strong Thrower Trolls. Once on the Plateau, you are attacked by Trolls. Low-Level Players - don't venture in the Death Plateau.

    Thrower Trolls - Level 68

There are about seven Thrower Trolls that throw Rocks at you when you are on the Path to the Death Plateau.

    Mountain Trolls - level 71

These are the majority of the Trolls on the Death Plateau and they sometimes drop Black Warhammers.

Karaka and Pee Hat - level 92

These are two REALLY big Trolls right before the Rocky Hill at the back of the Death Plateau.

Rock and Stick - level 113

If you thought Kraka and Pee Hat were big, think again. These monstrous Trolls are near the southern part of the Death Plateau. Rock is the one with the Sword, he is also the only known Monster to drop a Granite Shield.

Once you have completed the Death Plateau Quest, you can use the 'Secret Path' to get to the Death Plateau without being attacked by Thrower Trolls. Also, all Trolls on the Death Plateau drop Big Bones.

  9. Saba's Cave

This is Saba's Cave. He tells you about Tenzing the Sherpa for the Death Plateau Quest.
