How to Get There

The only Magic Carpet Station you can to use to get to Nardah via Magic Carpets is the one in South Pollnivneach. To get to South Pollnivneach, you can take a Magic Carpet from Menaphos or Sophanem, or you can take a Magic Carpet from Shantay Pass to North Pollnivneach and walk south. Each Magic Carpet ride shall cost you 200 Gold Pieces, a discount of 100 Gold Pieces if you have completed certain parts of the Rogue Trader Mini-Game and a further discount of 75 Gold Pieces if you are wearing a Ring of Charos (a).

With a Dramen Staff or Lunar Staff equipped, you can teleport to a Fairy Ring near Nardah from the Lost City of Zanaris. Just key the coordinates "D L Q" into the Fairy Ring and you will appear north of Nardah. Walk or run south and you shall reach the City of Nardah.

If you have a charged Pharaoh's Sceptre, you can teleport to Agility Pyramid, the closest pyramid to Nardah, and then walk north to Nardah. Please take note that this teleportation will cost you one charge out of your Pharaoh's Sceptre.

The Town

  1. Crevice

The Crevice to the west of the Town requires a Rope to climb down and a light source, such as a Candle or a Mining Helmet, to navigate in. It is used in the Spirits of the Elid Quest. Here is a map of inside the Crevice.

Inside of the Crevice are twelve Level 5 Desert Snakes. To access the northern Room, you have to complete the Spirits of the Elid Quest. Inside the north room is a Genie who proclaims that he is mighty, powerful, evil and scary, though whether this is truth or fiction remains to be unknown. There is also a Lamp in the room where the Genie is, but he will not allow anyone to touch it.

  2. General Store

Nardah's very own Gereral Store is run by Kazemde. The following is a list of what he sells normally and at what price.

      Name Price
    Pot 1 gp
    Jug 1 gp
    Shears 1 gp
    Bucket 2 gp
    Bowl 5 gp
    Cake Tin 13 gp
    Tinderbox 1 gp
    Chisel 1 gp
    Hammer 1 gp

Kazemde will also buy items from players and sells them to other players.

  3. Herbalist

Zahur will clean any Grimy Herbs for you at a cost of 200 Gold Pieces each. To get Zahur to clean a single Herb, use a Herb on Zahur. If you would like all the Herbs in your Inventory to be cleaned, talk to Zahur and select the option "Please clean all my herbs". Clean Herbs are more useful as you are unable to use Grimy Herbs to make Potions in Herblore. Please take note that you do not receive the Herblore Experience that you would normally receive from cleaning the Herb yourself if you allow Zahur to clean your Herb.

  4. Bank

This is the Bank of Nardah. Here you can withdraw Items from your Bank and deposit Items from your Inventory. This is quite a large Bank for a desert with four Bankers, all willing to take care of your most valued possessions.

  5. Hunter Shop

Artimeus here runs the Nardah Hunter Shop, one out of only two in the whole world! The items that he sells and the prices that he sells at is at followed.

      Name Price
    Butterfly Net 24 gp
    Butterfly Jar 1 gp
    Magic Box 720 gp
    Noose Wand 4 gp
    Bird Snare 6 gp
    Box Trap 38 gp
    Teasing Stick 60 gp
    Unlit Torch 4 gp
    Rabbit Snare 18 gp

  6. Mayor's Mansion

This mansion belongs to Mayor Awusah of Nardah, whom to talk with to start the Spirits of the Elid Quest. The mayor has three guards, Tarik, Poltenip and Radat, and they are all Level 21. There is also a respawn for Shoes. Although the Shoes belong to Mayor Awusah, you can pick them up and wear them, although they provide no bonus. The Item is needed for the Spirits of the Elid Quest.

  7. Shrine to Elidinis

The shrine of Nardah is located here. Inside is Shiratti the Custodian, who is very committed to looking after the rundown shrine. Against the back wall of the shrine is a Elidinis Statuette, which restores your Prayer and Hitpoints completely, and will even increase your Hitpoints beyond your level. However, you need to complete the Spirits of the Elid Quest to pray at the Statuette, as it is missing prior to completing the quest. To the eastern Wall of the shrine is an Ancestral Key, which is a priceless artifact that Shiratti will not let you touch. To obtain the Key, which is also used in the Spirits of the Elid Quest, cast Telekinetic Grab on the Key.

  8. Adventurer's Store

Seddu here buys and sells adventurer's equipment.

      Name Price
    Rune Plateskirt 60,800 gp
    Rune Platelegs 60,800 gp
    Rune Chainbody 47,500 gp
    Green Dragonhide Chaps 3,705 gp
    Green Dragonhide Vambraces 2,375 gp
    Steel Kiteshield 807 gp
    Black Medium Helmet 547 gp

Seddu's shop also has an Anvil, in which you could use to fashion metal Items. Just bring a Metal Bar and a Hammer here!

  9. Magic Carpet Station

This is the Rug Merchant, who you can pay for the services of his Magic Carpet. The Magic Carpet can be used to travel to South Pollnivneach. One trip will cost you 200 Gold Pieces. If you have completed a certain component of the Rogue Trader Mini-Game, you will only need to pay a fee of 100 Gold Pieces. This can be further reduced to 75 Gold Pieces if you are wearing a Ring of Charos (a).

  10. Fountain

In the center of the town is a Fountain, where you fill up your Vials, Buckets, Jugs, etc. with Water. The Fountain will be dried up if you have not yet completed the Spirits of the Elid Quest, and thus you cannot fill your items up with water.

Also, near the Fountain is a water salesman from Pollnivneach, named Ali the Carter. He tries to take advantage of the lack of water in the Town before the player completes the Spirits of the Elid Quest by selling Waterskins at an outrageous price of one thousand Gold Pieces each.

Near the Fountain is another merchant named Rokuh. He sells tasty Choc Ices, which are iced cream on the inside and chocolate on the outside.

      Name Price
    Choc-Ice 30 gp
    Chocolate Bar 10 gp

  11. Clay Ovens

To the north and south of the town are two Clay Ovens. They serve as a Range for you to cook your Food in.

Wingstone is a Gnome who has come out into the desert as an explorer. In particular he is looking for information to expand the knowledge of King Narnode Shareen of the Gnomes. He has found out about Sophanem and the Tombs and Mummies concealed there. The gods in the desert are also not any he has heard of before. He is involved in the Gnome Delivery Service Mini-Game and is one of the Gnomes you have to deliver Food to if you choose to take a 'Hard' task.

This is a good town, especially useful for identifying Herbs. The Bank here is one of the very few Banks in the desert, thus making it very convenient.
