Welcome to the Town of Port Phasmatys, the most eastern Town in both Morytania and in the whole of RuneScape. Port Phasmatys is located east of Canifis and has acquired the nickname of the "Ghost Town" due to the large numbers of Ghosts filling up the Streets. While we are speaking about Ghosts, remember to bring your Ghostspeak Amulet (obtained from the Restless Ghost Quest) if you want to communicate with the Ghosts.

- The Energy Barrier

The Energy Barrier prevents unwanted Souls from entering Port Phasmatys. To pass through the Barrier you must give the Ghost Guards two Ecto-tokens (obtained using the Ectofuntus). To enter, you must give the Ghost Guards two Ecto-Tokens (to get Ecto-Tokens, you must use the Ectofuntus). However, if you've completed the Ghosts Ahoy Quest then you can pass through without needing Ecto-Tokens or a Ghostspeak Amulet.
- The Bank

The Bank provides a convenient facility with four friendly Ghost Bankers who are always willing to help you to store or withdraw your Items.
Note: If you are not wearing a Ghostspeak Amulet, you can only bank by choosing the Bank Quickly option thus generating an auto-message. Also, if you are not wearing a Ghostspeak Amulet, it is impossible to set your PIN or configure its settings at this Bank unless you withdraw the Amulet from this Bank.
- The Furnace

Port Phasmatys is possibly the best Town to smelt your Ores in all of RuneScape due to the location of the Bank a couple of steps away from the Furnace. Now that's what I call service.
Note: Wear a Ghostspeak Amulet for efficiency as you do not need to go through the message you get when you Bank Quickly without wearing one.
- The Range

The Range is relatively close to the Bank and so is an efficient place to cook any Food you may have. It is, unfortunately, rather lonely as it is all by itself in the House as there are Ranges and Fires elsewhere in RuneScape much closer to a Bank or a Banker. Maybe you'd like to keep it company by cooking your Food on it?
- The General Store

The General Store is run by the Ghost Shopkeeper and stocks a variety of simple Items which may be of use to the weary traveler. To do trade with him, you need to wear a Ghostspeak Amulet, trading with it directly is also disabled without wearing it. As the General Store stocks a lot of Buckets and Pots, Items needed for the Ectofuntus, it is wise to buy your supplies here.

- The Pub

The Pub, owned by the Ghost Innkeeper, is a great place to sit back and relax with some friends while having a nice cool frothy alcoholic Beverage. Actually, scratch the last part as the Pub's Pumps have been dried out for over fifty years. If you're feeling up for a Quest then talk to the Pirate, Bill Teach. You will then be able to start the Cabin Fever Quest. Robin, a famous Archer, also stays here, and you need to win against him in a gamble in the Ghosts Ahoy Quest. Also, you can talk to the Ghost Innkeeper for a Bed Sheet to act as a Ghost, an Item required for the Ghosts Ahoy Quest. Note, that again, you need to wear a Ghostspeak Amulet to talk to the Ghost Innkeeper.

On second thoughts, I wasn't being completely truthful earlier on. The Pub does actually contain Beer, but you must brew it yourself. When you climb down the Trapdoor you will enter the Basement where you can use your Cooking level to brew a Beer. If you are unsure about how to brew a Beer you can talk to Metarialus for some assistance. Note, that again, you need to wear a Ghostspeak Amulet to talk to him.
- Verlorina's House

Verlorina is a sad Ghost as she never passed on to the next life. However, you can help her in the Ghosts Ahoy Quest, just talk to her to start the Quest. Once you've completed the Quest, you will receive the valuable Ectophial (see the Section 10 component of this Guide on the Ectofuntus). And if you ever happen to lose your Ectophial, just go back to Verlorina and she'll be happy to give you a new one.
- The Rowboat

The Ghost Captain and his Rowboat play a very important role in the Ghosts Ahoy Quest, by providing transportation to and from Dragontooth Island (for a fee of twenty-five Ecto-tokens per return trip). However, after the Quest, you no longer need to employ his services. Note again, you need to wear a Ghostspeak Amulet to talk to him.
- Pirate Pete

If you're looking to Quest with a Pirate then go speak to Pirate Pete. He'll ask for your help and if you agree then you will be commencing the Rum Deal Quest. Just remember to watch your Head.
- Ectofuntus

The Ectofuntus is a great place to train your Prayer Skill. All you need is Bones (any kind), Buckets and Pots. Buckets and Pots can both be acquired from the Port Phasmatys General Store. Using the Ectofuntus may be tedious but using it will quadruple the Experience you'd normally get from simply burying Bones. When you use the Ectophial to teleport you will arrive next to the Ectofuntus. Remember to refill the Ectophial on the Ectofuntus after every teleport.
- The Docks

If you stop by the Docks and have a talk with the Ghost Captain he'll explain that he isn't sailing anywhere because the miniature Ectofuntus is currently broken. Could this be a hint for a future update expanding the RuneScape Map to the east of Port Phasmatys.
- Ak-Haranu
Ak-Haranu is a Trader from across the eastern Sea, specializing in exotic Items from his homeland. He'll sell you some Bolt Racks for Karil's Crossbow. His Store has a default stock of 300 Bolt Racks, and each Bolt Rack will sell for about 150 Gold Pieces (assuming he has a full stock). Only Bolt Racks can be used with a Karil's Crossbow.
Note: You must complete the Ghosts Ahoy Quest to be able to speak to Ak-Haranu.
Once you have finished exploring the City go and hang out (no pun intended) with the local crazy, Gravingas. Wear your Bed Sheet (obtained during the Ghosts Ahoy Quest) for extra entertainment.
