Below, is an overview of Port Sarim.

Docks.

At the Docks, you will find a variety of Boats. The Boats take you to Entrana or Karamja. They cost 30 Gold Pieces per trip (except the Entrana one). The Boat to Entrana is free, providing you carry no Weapons or Armor. You will not be allowed on the Boat if you have any Weapons, Armor, Ranged Equipment, or anything above a normal Elemental Staff.
Food Store

The Food Store is a only one of its kind in RuneScape. It's a great place for Newcomers to get basic Food and Ingredients! It is also a key venue in the Pirate's Treasure Quest. (the Guide for which is available by clicking Quest Guides, right here on Runevillage.)
Port Sarim Jail.

The Jail is a fantastic location for People to begin their Ranged Training. As the Monsters are behind Bars they cannot attack you. The only drawback is that you can't get your Arrows back. You can fire at, a Rat, (Level 12), Thief (Level 16), Pirate (Level 20) , Wormbrain (Level 21) and a Black Knight (Level 31). Wormbrain is used in the Dragon Slayer Quest and he will either sell you the Map piece for 10,000, or drop it when you kill him. (Note: You must have 33 Magic and be able to cast telekinetic grab if you chose to kill him.)
Redbeard Frank

Arghh! It's Redbeard Frank! One of the major Players in the Pirate's Treasure Chest.
The Rusty Anchor.

Used in the Goblin Diplomacy, and Scorpion Catcher (Members Only) Quests. It also sells Beer for 2 Gold Pieces a pint!.
Port Sarim Fishing Store

Low on Fishing Supplies? Well if you’re in Free-To-Play come on down to the Port Sarim Fishing Store! There is also one at Catherby (Members Only) This Shop is frequented by Lower-Level Fishermen who need new Equipment and Bait.
Brian's Battleaxe Bazaar

Brian sells a range of Battleaxes. Ideal for crushing your Enemy to a pulp!
Betty’s Magic Emporium

Betty sells a range of Runes, Wizard Hats and Eye of Newt. The Newt Eye can be traded with other Items for Strength Potions in Varrock, or used in Attack and Super Attack Potions (Members Only).
Grum’s Gold Exchange

The Port Sarim Jewelers. They sell a range of Rings, Necklaces and Amulets. This Building is also used in the Merlin's Crystal Quest.
