Rimmington is a tiny little Hamlet. The only major role this plays is the Portal, which is the default starting place for your Player Owned House. The area around the Portal can be very crowded, and used for selling or buying Construction Goods. Also, it does have a few assets including its important role in the Biohazard Quest and being the starting point of the Witch's Potion Quest. Rimmington doesn't have a Bank, so if you do need to bank your best option is Falador or Draynor Village.

A. The Cabbage And Onion Field.

Well, if you ever need Cabbages or Onions, here's the place to come!

B Melzar's Maze.

This is part of the Dragon Slayer Quest. For a full Guide to this, look under the Melzar's Maze Special Report on Runevillage.com.

C. Rimmington Mining Site.

The Mining Site at Rimmington offers a choice of 5 Copper Rocks, 2 Tin Rocks, 5 Iron Rocks, 2 Clay Rocks and 2 Gold Rocks.

D. General Store.

Your standard General Store. It sells a variety of basic Items such as Hammers and Buckets. They will also buy your every day Items.

E. Crafting Store.

One of the three Free World Crafting Shops. It sells all your basic Molds, Needles, Thread and a Chisel. Just north of Melzar's Maze (B) is the Crafting Guild. More information about the Crafting Guild can be found under Guild Guides, here on RuneVillage.

F. Arrow Re-Spawn.

The only Arrow re-spawn spot on the RuneScape Mainland. Any other Arrow re-spawns are only to be found in the Wilderness. Although the Arrows only re-spawn one at a time they can save Lower-Level Archers some Money. You could also train on the Level 1 Rats for your first few Ranged Levels.

G. Hetty.

Hetty is the Starting Point for the Witch's Potion Quest. This is an easy Quest and will reward you with some valuable Magic Experience early on in your RuneScape career.

H. Willow Trees.

These Trees are more advanced than regular Trees. As such you will get more Woodcutting, Fire-Making or Fletching (Members Only) Experience for each one you cut down, burn or fletch. However, you must have a Woodcutting Level of 30 or above to be able to cut these Trees.

I. DeVinci, Chancy and Hops.

These three Gentlemen are used in the Members' Biohazard Quest. They will help you take Samples of the Plague to the Pharmacist in Varrock.

J. The Portal

The Portal allows you to enter your Player Owned House! You can enter in building mode, normal mode, or even into a friends House! Outside of the Rimmington Portal is now a major trading spot for Construction Goods. Note: Player Owned Houses are Members only.
