- Question: What is Waterbirth Island?
Answer: Waterbirth Island is an Island recently discovered by the Inhabitants of Rellekka. They believe it is where the Dagganoths have been spawning from, and they hunt down the many Water Creatures that inhabit it and kill them to make Armor.
- Question: How do I get to Waterbirth Island?

Answer: A third Dock has appeared in Rellekka, and it houses a Ship sailed by Jarvald. This brave Warrior will happily take you to Waterbirth Island. If you have trouble finding the Dock, it's the Westernmost one, north of the clothing store.
- Question: I'm on Waterbirth Island, now what?

Answer: There is a Cave Southwest of where you land. Enter it, and you'll find yourself in the Home of the Dagannoth and their many Deep-Sea Pals.

- Question: What do I need to get the Armor?
Answer: You need three things to get each piece of Armor:
There are three different kinds of Armors, so if you want all three you'll need 18 Daggannoth Hides.
- Question: How do I get the Dagannoth Hides?

Answer: Simple - Kill the Level 90 Melee Dagganoths at the Entrance to the Cave. These are the easiest of all the Monsters to kill. But be warned, they hit very high and often. A good strategy is to use Prayer Pots, or to range them across a small Lake on the north side.
- This is what they look like.
- Question: Why am I not getting any Dagannoth Hides?
Answer: Dagannoth Hides aren't very rare, but they're certainly not common. Sometimes you can be lucky and get a lot of them all at once, but it usually takes quite a bit of work to get as many as you need. Stay with it!
- Question: I have all the Hides I need, now what?
Answer: Now you must venture even deeper into the Cave. If you go all the way to the west end, you'll find three Doors. On each side of these, there are three different types of Monsters: Ranging Dagganoths (Level 88), Magic Wallasalkis (Level 98), and Giant Rock Crabs for Melee (Level 137).
- Question: Help! The Doors won't open for me!

Answer: This Dungeon makes cooperation necessary. In order to open the Door, one Person must stand on each of the two Squares on either side of the Door for it to open. Only then can you proceed.
- Question: How do I get into the center of the three Rooms?

Answer: At the back of the Rooms, all three of them are connected by a small Multi-Combat Area. But these are guarded by Doors, being held up by Props. To open these, you need to Range or Mage the Door Props. This will cause the Door of someone else's Room to fall, allowing them to go into the center Room and open your Door for you.
- Question: Where does that mysterious Ladder lead to?

Answer: If you hadn't noticed, many of these Monsters drop Raw Fish, Tinderboxes, and Axes. *hint hint* Up here is a safe place to cut Trees, make Fires, and cook Food if you are in desperate need.
- Question: What do I get from the Giant Rock Crabs?

Answer: The Giant Rock Crabs drop the Items for full Rock-Shell Armor. These Items can be taken to the Skulgrimen, the Man who sells the Horned Helmets in Rellekka. You must have the Rock Pieces in your Inventory for him to talk about making them.
The Pieces Are:
| |
Name |
Used for... |
 | Rock-Shell Chunk | Rock-Shell Helm |
 | Rock-Shell Shard | Rock-Shell Plate |
 | Rock-Shell Splinter | Rock-Shell Legs |
| From these you also get Rock-Shell Gloves and Boots, but they are ready to be worn when you get them. |
The best method of killing them is to wear Mage Armor, and to go into one of the Indentations on the Walls near the center. You can Mage them there without being attacked. After they run, continue to chase them. Don't worry about being attacked, they have *horrible* Attack Stats, and will rarely hit on mage Armor. Their Max Hit is somewhere around nine.
DO NOT MELEE OR RANGE!!! It is pretty much hopeless. The only reasonable way to beat them is Magic.

What do I get from the Wallasalkis?

The Wallasalkis drop the Items for Full Spined Maging Armor. These Items can be taken to Peer the Seer, the man south of the Market in Rellekka. You must have the Spined Pieces in your Inventory for him to talk about making them.
The Pieces are:
| |
Name |
Used for... |
 | Skull Piece | Spined Helm |
 | Ribcage Piece | Spined Top |
 | Fibula Piece | Spined Bottoms |
| From these you also get Spined Gloves and boots, but they are ready to be worn when you get them. |
These are the hardest to kill of all three Monsters. After about 1/3 of their health is gone, they run and a new one attacks you. It is extremely keep track of the specific Crab you were attacking as they are all identical. I realize there must be other way to defeat these; following I present the three I have found to be very effective
- Wait for them to stop auto-attacking you, then it's a breeze. But, they'll eventually start auto-attacking you again in a few minutes, so hurry!
- Bring a Cannon or have a friend bring a Cannon. Anything that helps get rid of the bulk of them can definitely help you be able to go one-on-one with one of these.
- Attack one, and walk up to the center Door. It will follow you into the Multi-Combat Area. Then run onto the other side of it (it won't walk through you while it retreats, so it will be trapped between you and the Door). Turn on protect from Magic, because several others will attack you at once while you're in Multi-Combat Area. This could be a good place to bring a trusted Friend.
- Another way to get a Wallasalki into a Multi-Combat Area is to stand a Knight's position in Chess away from the easternmost one. This should make it retreat into the small Multi-Combat Corridor. And it respawns on that spot too, so you can repeat this strategy.
USE RANGE! Magic will hardly ever hit, and they move around way too much for Melee. Plus they're Defense is very weak to Range.

What do I get from the ranging Dagganoths?

The Ranging Dagganoths drop the Items for full Spined Ranging Armor. These Items can be taken to Sigli the Hunter, the Man at the Entrance to Rellekka. You must have the Spined Armor Pieces in your Inventory for him to talk about making them.
The Pieces are:
| |
Name |
Used for... |
 | Circular Hide | Spined Helm |
 | Flattened Hide | Spined Body |
 | Stretched Hide | Spined Chaps |
| From these you also get Spined Gloves and Boots, but they are ready to be worn when you get them. |
These can be a pain to kill, because when they're low on health they run from you. The best way to kill them is to bring a Dragon Dagger or something like that and use your Special on them before they're low enough to run.
USE MELEE! Range and Mage won't work well here, and their Spines will rip you apart. Plus you need the Melee Specials to kill them effectively.
