Requirements to Enter the Guild: 68 Fishing (65 Fishing with a Fishing Potion).

Location: West of Hemenster, north of Ardougne

This is a Map of the world-renowned Fishing Guild, home to only the mightiest of Fishers!

The Master Fisherman can be found just outside the Entrance. He will refuse you entry if you do not have 68 Fishing (or 65 with a Fishing Potion to boost it to 68).

Upon entering the Fishing Guild you will find yourself inside a small Building. To your right there is a Cooking Range, and to your left there are Harpoon, Lobster Cage and Big Net respawns. This is extremely handy in case you forget your own Fishing Equipment. There is also a Ladder beside the Cooking Range, which leads to an Emergency Escape Ladder. This is primarily used if you came into the Fishing Guild after drinking a Fishing Potion, and the Potion’s effects have worn off.

To the west is a larger Building. The northern section of the Building is a Bank, where you can deposit your catch.

The southern section of the Building is the Fishing Guild Shop, run by Roachey. He sells Fishing Supplies and Fish. Only the Fishing Supplies restock, both the Raw and Cooked Fish must be supplied by Players.

The Prices of Items in the Fishing Guild Shop (prices will vary depending on the number of that Item in stock) are:

Fishing Supplies
  • Bait: 2 Gold Pieces
  • Feathers: 2 Gold Pieces
  • Raw Fish
    • Cod: 25 Gold Pieces
    • Mackerel: 17 Gold Pieces
    • Bass: 120 Gold Pieces
    • Tuna: 100 Gold Pieces
    • Lobster: 150 Gold Pieces
    • Swordfish: 200 Gold Pieces

    Cooked Fish
    • Cod: 25 Gold Pieces
    • Mackerel: 17 Gold Pieces
    • Bass: 120 Gold Pieces
    • Tuna: 100 Gold Pieces
    • Lobster: 150 Gold Pieces
    • Swordfish: 200 Gold Pieces

Of course the main purpose of the Fishing Guild is to…fish! There are two Fishing Docks where you can fish from, and there are eleven Fishing Spots in total. Bear in mind that the exact position of these Fishing Spots changes constantly and randomly. This is one of the examples of Fishing random events.

There are three types of Fishing Spots available at the Fishing Guild. They are: Harpoon and Lobster Cage Fishing Spots (for Tuna, Swordfish and Lobster); and Harpoon and Big Net Fishing Spots (for Sharks and anything which can normally be fished using a Big Net).

The Fishing Dock closest to the Bank is generally used by Fishermen not interested in using the Cooking Range in the Fishing Guild, whereas the Fishing Dock further away from the Bank is mostly used by Fishermen who plan on cooking their Raw Fish on the nearby cooking Range.

    Non-Player Characters (NPC’s)
    • Banker(s): Bankers can be found in the Fishing Guild Bank.
    • Ducks (Level 1): Ducks can be found swimming around the Fishing Guild, trying to avoid the odd kick Fisher Folk swing at them; annoyed by their incessant quacking.

    • Man (Level 2): One Man respawns on the northern Fishing Dock.
    • Master Fisher: The Master Fisher guards the Entrance to the Fishing Guild, ensuring that only the worthy may enter.
    • Rats (Level 1): These troublesome Creatures lurk and creep around the Fishing Guild. They can be found on the Fishing Docks, next to the Bank and trying to pilfer Raw Fish from the Fishing Guild Shop.
    • Roachey: Roachey is in charge of the Fishing Guild Shop, and can be found by the Fishing Guild Shop, protecting his Wares.

A few friendly Fishing Guild Tips
    1. Fish at the Fishing Guild and then cook them somewhere like the Lost City of Zanaris which has a Cooking Range closer to a Bank.
    2. Another fast way that you can fish and then cook your Fish is by making a Fire inside the Fishing Guild Bank.
    3. If you are 65 Fishing and you want to get into the Fishing Guild, just drink a Fishing Potion right before you go into the Fishing Guild.
    4. If you want to fish Sharks and you are 73 Fishing, remember that you too can drink a Fishing Potion to get your Fishing Level up to 76.
    5. Remember to use the nearby Bank!

So what are you waiting for? Hop to it and fish!
