The Hero's Guild, as the name suggests, is a Guild for only the mightiest of warriors and knights, who work hard enough to earn the honourable title of "Hero". Certain benefits come with the access of entrance into this Guild. Inside, you will find an Altar, a man named Helemos who will sell you a Dragon Battle Axe and a Dragon Mace for a very reasonable price, a Fountain to charge your Amulets of Glory, a mine and several Monsters to train your Combat on.

Requirements to Enter

To be granted entrance into the Heroes Guild, you must have completed the Heroes Quest. To be able to complete the quest, you need 55 Quest Points and must have completed the Lost City Quest, the Merlin's Crystal Quest, the Shield of Arrav Quest and the Dragon Slayer Quest. It is also a requirement that you have Level 25 Herblore, Level 53 Cooking, Level 53 Fishing and Level 50 Mining.

To gain entrance to the Hero's Guild, Achietties asks you to collect three items for her to prove yourself as a Hero and worthy of entering the Guild. These items are the Master Thief Armband, two Cooked Lava Eels and a Fire Feather, rare items that are not physically and mentally challenging to obtain.

How to Get There

The Hero's Guild is situated south of Burthorpe, north of Taverley, northwest of Falador and east of Camelot and White Wolf Mountain. There are several places you can teleport to and walk to get towards the Guild. You can teleport to Burthorpe with a Games Necklace and walking south. You can teleport to Taverley, if your Player Owned House is there, by casting the Level 40 Magic spell, Teleport to Home, or fly there using the Balloon Transport System, which requires a normal Log, and then walking north. You can teleport to Camelot by casting the Level 45 Magic spell, Camelot Teleport, wand walking east, either going through White Wolf Mountain, or taking the Dwarven Underground Tunnel, which requires the completion of the Fishing Contest Quest. You can take a Charter to Catherby, with various costs depending on where you take the Charter Ship from, whether you completed the Cabin Fever Quest and whether you have equipped the Ring of Charos (a), and walking east, either going through White Wolf Mountain, or taking the Dwarven Underground Tunnel. You can also fly to White Wolf Mountain from the Grand Tree using a Gnome Glider and walking east to each the Guild. Lastly, you can teleport to Falador by casting the Level 37 Magic spell, Falador Teleport and walking northwest.

Ground Floor of Hero's Guild

After entering the Hero's Guild, you will come across a statue of Arrav and a statue of Camorra in the center of the Hall. If you examine these statues, they will inform you that the Fountain of Heroes that once stood there has been moved into the Basement of the Guild. Arrav is a legendary hero of Avarrocka, while Camorra is a rather unknown female warrior shrouded in mysteries. The Hall also has decorative fonts and Armours.

If you continue past these Statues and through the Large Doors, you will find yourself in an enclosed area containing four Evergreens and three Dead Trees. Not rather good for your wood cutting purposes, but they can still serve as a source of fuel if you need a Fire to cook.

Second Floor

If you climb the Staircase, you will find yourself on the second floor of the Hero's Guild. This floor contains a Weapons Shop (Happy Heroes' H'emporium) that sells the powerful Dragon Mace and the legendary Dragon Battle Axe and an altar to recharge your Prayer. There are also three Ladders leading to the third floor and a lot of decorative Armour and Candles, as well as Chairs for the tired heroes.

A Shrine to the glory of Saradomin can be found on the second floor. This Altar is very convenient if you decide to train in the Basement, as it completely recharges your Prayer.

Also on the second floor is Helemos, a retired hero who now runs an exclusive Shop for the members of the Guild. Be warned that his Items do not come cheap.

Item Name Price Stab Slash Crush Strength
Dragon Battle Axe 200,000 Gold Pieces -2 +70 +65 +85
Dragon Mace 50,000 Gold Pieces +40 -2 +60 +55

Basement

The two side Ladders on the second floor lead up to small but tall Towers. The third ladder to this floor is located next to the Altar. This ladder leads to a Room with two empty Chests and a Table, with Chairs surrounding it, great for a party or a meeting of the Heroes. This Room is also perfect for hanging out with all your friends that have also managed to gain entrance to the Heroes Guild.

For those that thought you gained entrance to the Heroes Guild because of your great warrior prowess, the Basement is the place for you. Down here you can find many Level 27 Giant Bats to train on.

The Basement also happens to cater for those adept in the skill of Mining. The mine contains two Adamantite Rocks, two Mithril Rocks, eleven Coal Rocks and two Runite Rocks. This is one of three places that Runite Rocks can be found, and it holds two of the five Runite Rocks in existence throughout the RuneScape world.

The Hero's Guild is also home to a single caged Level 111 Blue Dragon. The Cage does have a Door, so if you are a Ranger or a Mage, you can stand afar, shooting it with rains of Arrows or Spells. Remember that Dragons are fierce monsters and wielding an Anti-Dragon Shield and taking a sip of Anti-Fire Breath Potion is advised, unless you wish to be fried, hot and crispy.

The Basement of the Hero's Guild contains one of the key reasons to visit, the Fountain of Heroes. Although this Fountain is a source of pure Water, you are unable to fill Buckets, Vials, Jugs, etc. up with Water from this Fountain. Thus, this fountain is unable to act as a Water Source. This Fountain can be used to charge your Amulets of Glory, however. A charged Amulet of Glory has a maximum of four charges, which can be used to teleport to Edgeville, Karamja, Draynor Village or Al Kharid. With each teleport, a charge is used up. When all four charges are used up, the user must recharge his or her Amulet by visiting the Fountain of Heroes again. It also has a second function, a charged Amulet of Glory also allows you to collect more Gems whilst mining.
