Requirements:
  • Level 20 Firemaking
  • Level 30 Farming
  • Level 36 Crafting
  • 20 Quest Points

Items Needed:
  • Secateurs
  • 1 Spade
  • 3 Sheets of Papyrus
  • 1 Ball of Wool
  • 1 Sack of Potatoes
  • 1 Unlit Candle
  • 1 Red Dye
  • 1Yellow Dye
  • 8 Sand Bags (Sacks filled with Sand)
  • 1 Bowl
  • 10 Pieces of Silk
  • 10 Normal Logs
  • Tinderbox
  • A charged Amulet of Glory
  • A few already grown Willow Trees is recommended.
Starting Point: Auguste, located on Entrana.

  1. Speak with Auguste. He wants to fly across the ocean to Taverley in a Hot Air Balloon.

  2. You will need to get three Sheets of Papyrus, one Ball of Wool, one Sack of Potatoes, and one Unlit Candle. Once you have those items, return to Auguste.

  3. He will give you some directions on how to make an Origami Balloon. Follow his instructions to create your Origami Balloon.

  4. The Balloon will fly and then burn up. Talk to Auguste again and hand him the Potatos and Papyrus.

His balloon will fly until the mob kills it.

  5. He will then give you another list of Items, consisting of: Yellow Dye, Red Dye, eight Sand Bags, ten Pieces of Silk, and a Clay Bowl. You will also need to plant a Willow Tree, which he will give you. You also receive a basket of apples to pay the Farmer to look after the Willow Tree. Once it has grown, cut twelve Branches from the Tree (Note: It takes two to five minutes for a branch to grow back. You can also use your own Willow Tree to collect the Branches).

  6. When you have everything, go back and give the stuff to Auguste. Use your Branches with the Basket and he'll tell you that he can put it together for you.

  7. Speak with him again and he'll tell you that you shall be the one piloting the Balloon.

  8. Gather ten Logs and make sure that your weight is under forty kilograms. He will teach you how to fly the Balloon. Your job is to get to the end without hitting the clouds. Dropping Sand Bags will make the Balloon rise quickly, and dropping Logs will make it rise for a little bit. The Red Rope can be used to fall quickly, the other one lets you fall just a little. If you crash, you will need to go back to Entrana and get ten more Logs.

  9. Follow the following steps to solve the first puzzle: three Logs, nine Relax, three Brown Ropes, and finally five Relax.

  10. For puzzle two, follow these steps: two Relax, two Logs, nine Relax, one Log, and four Relax.

  11. For the final puzzle, follow these steps: seven Relax, one Red Rope, one Brown Rope, two Relax, one Log, two Relax, one Brown Rope, and then Relax for the rest of the way.
