1. To start the quest, head to Draynor Manor, north of Draynor Village. Before you go, make sure you have your Ectophial (if you have completed Ghost Ahoy), Ghost Speak Amulet, Amulet of Glory (charged), and 20 Ecto-Tokens. You will find Ava on the ground floor, in the southwest Room. You will have to search the Bookcase to enter the Room.
   
   
   
   
2. Speak to Ava. She will ask you to help her make her new home a better place. Agree to help her. She will then require you to go to the farm in Port Phasmatys to look for someone who could supply Ava with Undead Chickens.
   
   
   
   
3. Now, go to Port Phasmatys, either by teleporting or walking. Once you've, head west to the Chicken and Cow farm (making sure to refill the Ectophial from the Ectofuntus, if you used it). Speak to Alice who sells Farming Equipment. Ask her about the quest, and tell her that you are interested in buying Chickens. She will tell you to speak to her Husband. Head into the Cow pen, just west outside of the Building Alice is in.
   
   
4. Speak to Alice's Husband in the Cow Pen. He will tell you why his animals are undead and then ask you to speak to his wife, Alice, and tell her that he loves her. Head back to Alice. Each time you speak to her, select the option, "I'm here about the quest."

5. Alice will then tell you to run back and speak to Alice's Husband again. Her Husband will tell you that the money is in their Bank. Head back to Alice, and she will tell you that she needs the Bank Pin from him. Finally, head back to Alice's Husband, and he will think you are a scammer. Go back to Alice and she will send you off to the Old Crone.
   
   
6. Head west of the Farm, passing the Fence that divides Canifis and Fenkenstrain's Castle. Then head north of Canifis to the Old Crone's home, which is just east of the Slayer Tower.
   
   
   
   
7. Speak to her about the Farmers in the east. She will require your Ghost Speak Amulet and one free space in your inventory. Speak to her again to give her your Ghost Speak Amulet and she will duplicate it to make an Crone-Made Amulet.
   
   
8. Now using your Ectophial, or walk back if you don't have one, head back to the Chicken and Cow farm. Equip your own Ghost Speak Amulet again and speak to Alice's Husband to give him the Crone-Made Amulet.
   
   
   
   
9. Then speak to Alice's Husband once again, and talk to him about getting a supply of Undead Chickens. A short cutscene will take place. After the Cutscene, speak to Alice's Husband and ask to buy the Chickens. Select that you would like to buy 2 Chickens for 20 Ecto-Tokens. You will receive two Sacks of Undead Chickens in your Inventory.
   
   
   
   
10. Using your charged Amulet of Glory, teleport back to Draynor Village. Before you go back to Ava, bank and withdraw five Iron Bars, a Hammer, a Holy Symbol, one Hard Leather, one set of Polished Buttons, and one Mithril Axe. If you would like, bring Falador Teleport Runes, Games Necklace, and your charged Amulet of Glory for a faster way to travel. Teleporting to Falador will only be faster if you can use the Agility shortcuts to get over the City's Walls.

11. Head north to Draynor Manor. Speak with Ava again to give her your Undead Chickens. She will then tell you that she needs a special magnetic Iron Bar.
    
    
12. Now head into the middle Corridor of the Manor to find the Witch. To leave Ava's room, you need to pull the Lever on the Wall to exit.
    
    
    
    
13. Speak to the Witch and ask her for help. She will require five Iron Bars. Speak to her again to give her the Iron Bars, and she will create a Selected Iron bar for you.
    
    
    
    
14. Now walk to Rimmington, or teleport to Falador, and head to Rimmington's Mines. Rimmington is located south of Falador and west of Port Sarim.
    
    
15. Once you arrive, head into the mines and then make your Character face north. That is, your Character should be facing the same direction the N on your Compass beside your Mini Map is in. Then use your Hammer on the Selected Iron bar to create a Bar Magnet.
    
    
    
    
16. Using your Amulet of Glory, teleport back to Draynor Village and head back to Ava in the Manor. Speak to her again to give her the Bar Magnet. She will then tell you to cut down one of the animated Trees that attack you outside of the Manor with a Mithril Axe. Pull the Lever to exit her Room. Then head to the eastern side of the House to exit the Manor through the back door.
    
    
17. Head to one of the animated Dead Trees and wield your Mithril Axe. The option to Chop Dead Tree should appear and the text of 'Dead Tree' will be yellow. Attempt to chop the Dead Tree down and your Dialogue box will say that the Axe bounces off of the undead wood. You will then need to report back to Ava.
    
    
    
    
18. Head back into the Manor and speak to Ava again. Report to her what you found, and she will send you off to Turael in Burthorpe. If you have a Games Necklace, rub it and teleport to Burthorpe Games Rooms. Then travel upstairs to the ground floor and south east to find Turael, the Slayer Master. Burthorpe is located north of the town of Taverley and northwest of Falador.
    
    
19. Speak to Turael and tell him you're there about a quest. You will explain to him that you need to cut down the Undead Trees that attack you and he will tell you that you need a Blessed Axe. Unequip your Axe, if you haven't already, and then speak to him again to give him the Axe and Holy Symbol. He will a Blessed Axe for you.
    
    
20. Using your Amulet of Glory, teleport back to Draynor Village and head north to the Manor again. Attempt to chop down the Undead Tree, the ones which attack you, again. You should have successfully chopped an Undead Twig.
    
    
    
    
21. Head back into Ava's room in the Manor and speak to her again to give her the Undead Twig. She will ask you to translate the Research Notes. Speak to her again for the Research Notes and she will give them to you.
    
    
    
    
22. Click on the Research Notes to Translate them. Click on each of the Green Buttons except for the Second, Fifth, and Ninth(last) ones, from left to right, so that all of the Buttons should be red in Off position, except for the Second, Fifth, and Ninth(last) ones, from left to right, which should still be green. Your Research Notes should then change into Translated Notes, which look like this:
    
    
    
    
23. Speak to Ava again to give her the Translated Notes. She will give you A Pattern to use with your Polished Buttons and Hard Leather. Use either the Polished Buttons or Hard Leather on A Pattern to create A Container.
    
    
    
    
24. Finally, speak to her again to hand A Container to her and she will give you Ava's Accumulator for helping her.
