Biohazard Quest Guide

Difficulty: Easy

Requirements: Must have beaten Plague City Quest, no Skill requirements.

Items: Priest Robes or 12 Gold Pieces.

Reward: 3 Quest Points, ability to use King Lathas' Training Ground, 1,250 Thieving Experience and the ability to start Underground Pass Quest.

Start: Speak to Elena, she lives in the House just east of Edmond (black dot on map 1). She will explain to you that when she left West Ardougne she left behind her Distillator, and she wants you to get it back. There is only one problem: The Mourners have filled in the Tunnel you used to get in for Plague City Quest. Elena has a friend named Jerico that is in contact with West Ardougne that may know how to get you into the Town.

1. Talk to Jerico, he lives two Buildings north of the Church (white dot on map 1). He will tell you a Man named Omart will get you over the Wall. While you're at Jerico's House, open his Cupboard and take the Birdseed, then go around back and take a Birdcage.

2. Talk to Omart, he is standing next to the Wall at the southwest side of Ardougne (pink dot on map 1). He will tell you that he can get you over the Wall if you can distract the Mourners in the Tower that would watch you going over. He suggests you ask Jerico for any ideas on how to get over.

3. Talk to Jerico, he won't help you at all as he is too busy feeding his Pigeons. He suggests asking Omart. Instead of running back and forth between these two, use the Birdseed on the spears surrounding the Watchtower's base (red dot on map 1) and release the Pigeon in the Cage.

4. Return to Omart, he and his associate Kilron will let you go over the Wall on a Rope Ladder.

5. Now that you're in West Ardougne, it's time to get Elena's Distillator. Go to the northeastern most Building in West Ardougne (green dot on map 1). This is the Mourners' House. On the west side of the Building you will find a Rotten Apple, pick it up.

6. Climb over the Fence on the west side of the Building and use the Apple with the Cauldron of Soup. Try to enter the Building and the Mourners will say that they are sick with Food Poisoning, get a Doctor.

7. Go southwest to a Building along the south side of Town just east of the Graveyard (blue dot on map 1). This is the House that Nurse Sarah lives in. Enter the House and search in her Cupboard to get a Doctors Gown.

8. Return to the Mourners' House; the Mourners will let you enter either Door. Once inside go up the Stairs and talk to the Mourners Upstairs. Speak to them and they will attack you, it doesn't matter what you say to them (I tried all the responses). After killing both Mourners you will get a Key (Note: You have to talk to them and have them attack you, not just attack them). Enter the Fenced off Area Upstairs with your Key and search the Boxes. One of them contains the Distillator.

9. Go back to the southeast corner of West Ardougne and speak to Kilron. Tell him you are ready to leave West Ardougne, he will let you over the Rope Ladder with Omart. Now you can return to Elena with the Distillator.

10. Elena will examine the Sample, but can't understand it. She asks you to visit her mentor Guidor in Varrock. Elena also requests that while your going you stop by Rimmington to get more Touch Paper for Tests. She will give you a Plague Sample along with Liquid Honey, Sulphuric Broline and Ethanea.

11. Go to Rimmington with the Samples. Do not Teleport or the Sample will disintegrate and you will have to go back to Ardougne. However, you can Bank the Sample, then Teleport. Once in Rimmington visit the Chemist. Tell him your Elena's friend, not that you are carrying a Plague Sample. Then tell him you need some Touch Paper for a Guidor, again, don't say you have the Plague Sample.

12. You will have to smuggle the Samples to Varrock using the Chemist's Helpers: Chancey, Hops and DeVinci. Give Chancey the Liquid Honey, Hops the Sulphuric Broline and DeVinci the Ethenea, in that order.

13. Go to Varrock, again, do not Teleport unless you have Banked the Sample. If you don't already have Priests Gowns you can buy them in either Clothing Store here (Red dots on map 2). Go to the Dancing Donkey Inn (Blue dot on map 2), it is in southeast Varrock, through a Gate that requires a Guard search you. Get your Vials back from the Chemist's Men.

14. Put on your Priest's Robes, and enter Guidor's House southeast of the Bar (White dot on map 2). If your not wearing Priest's Robes Guidor's Wife will not let you enter his Room. Tell Guidor that you're trying to stop the Plague and then tell him that you've come from Elena. Guidor will use all the Samples and come to the conclusion that there is no Plague.

15: Your Reward: Return to Elena in Ardougne, tell her that the Plague does not exist, she will say you have to go to the top. Visit King Lathas in the Castle (Yellow dot on map 1). Tell him you do not understand why he would lie to his People. He tells you that it was to protect them from the Dark Lord and his evil Brother. He also requests you help him against them when the time comes.
