Requirements: None

Quest Length: Medium

Members Only: No

Items Needed: None

Starting Point: Speak to Veronica who is outside Draynor Manor

  1. Talk to Veronica and she will ask for your aid as her Fiancé went into Draynor Manor an hour ago to ask for directions and hasn't returned yet. Accept her plea for help and enter the Manor.

  2. Upon entering the Manor the large Door will slam shut; it is not possible to exit through that Entrance. Head up two flights of Stairs until you are on the second floor of the Manor.

  3. Speak to Professor Oddenstein and he will inform you that Ernest is helping with his Experiment by being a Chicken. Demand that Ernest is returned to his original form and the Professor will explain that he cannot until the Strange Machine is fixed. You need to find the three missing parts to the Strange Machine, a Pressure Gauge, Rubber Tube and Oil Can.

  4. On the second floor of the Manor there is a Fish Food respawn, pick it up. There is also a respawn of Poison in the Kitchen on the ground level. Use the Poison on the Fish Food to obtain Poisoned Fish Food. This will help you to find the Pressure Gauge

[Rat Poison] + [Fish Food] = [Poisoned Fish Food]

  5. Head to the east side of the Manor and pick up a Spade. Then exit the Manor using the side Door and head to the Compost Heap which is on the western side of the grounds. Search the Compost Heap and you will find a Key, which opens the Door to the Closet containing the Rubber Tube.

  6. South of the Compost Heap is a Fountain. It contains the Pressure Gauge and Piranhas. Use the Poisoned Fish Food on the Fountain to kill all the Piranhas so you can reach in and grab the Pressure Gauge.

  7. Re-enter the Manor and head to the Closet containing a Skeleton (Level 22) and the Rubber Tube. Open the Door using the Key and grab the Rubber Tube.

  8. Now head to the western Wing of the Manor and search the two Bookcases which are standing side-by-side. The Bookcases will part and you will find yourself in a hidden area of the Manor.

  9. Head down the Ladder and you will be confronted by a series of Levers. This is a Maze so you need to pull the Levers in the correct combination, as shown below:

    1. Pull Lever A
    2. Pull Lever B
    3. Head through northeast Door and pull Lever D
    4. Pull Lever A
    5. Pull Lever B
    6. Head through northwest Door and pull Lever E
    7. Pull Lever F
    8. Head through two Doors east of Lever F and pull Lever C
    9. Return through the same two Doors and pull Lever E again
    10. Head through the first east Door, then the two south Doors
    11. Head through the Door entering a Room containing the Oil Can

  10. Return to the Professor and hand over the three Items. He will restore Ernest into his Human form. Ernest will thank you and give you your Reward.

You have completed the Ernest The Chicken Quest!
    4 Quest Points
    300 Gold Pieces

    Congratulations! Quest Complete!
