Delrith and Wally
Items Required: 1 Gold Piece
  1. Find Gypsy Aris' tent in Varrock Square (you can't miss it for being too colourful) and cross her palm with silver... or, if you ask about it, gold. Once paid, she reads your future and sees you holding a powerful sword before seeing Delrith, a demon that nearly destroyed Varrock years ago. She predicts he will return, and you must face him. Talk about what you can; the incantation used to banish Delrith is particularly important.

  3. On Gypsy Aris' advice, head into Varrock Castle to find Sir Prysin, a knight and descendant of the one who slayed Delrith before. He indeed holds Silverlight, the sword you'll need, but it's locked by three keys. He has (or had) one, gave one to the palace guard's captain Rovin, and one to a wizard Traiborn. He "had" his key because, when you ask, he dropped it into a drain. So, you get to hunt for keys now.

Rovin & Prysin's Keys
Items Required: One Bucket
  1. The easiest and closest key to get is Captain Rovin's. In the northeast corner of the tower are stairs leading up. Climb them as high as they will take you, and you'll see Captain Rovin's room. Speak with him and follow this dialogue.
    • Yes I know, but this is important.
    • There's a demon who wants to invade this city.
    • Yes, very.
    • They're not fighting the demon, I am!
    • Sir Prysin said you would give me the key.
    • Why did he give you one of the keys then?
Out of dislike of Sir Prysin, he'll simply hand you his key.

  3. Head back downstairs, and to the northeast part of the castle instead. You'll be in a kitchen. Outside the door is indeed Sir Prysin's key stuck in the drain, but you have to flush it down. In comes your bucket. If you don't have one, head up the stairs closest to the kitchen and look on the floor of the rooms you wind up at. Use your bucket on the kitchen's sink to get water, and flush the key down into the Varrock Sewers.

  5. Run out of the castle and leave via the east path. Just off it to the south is a manhole to the sewers. Enter, and take the west path, which will take you to the key. Remember, if you don't want to waste time with getting the camera right, click your compass; it will be the path on the left if you do so. The key will be glowing despite being caught in its little muck pile.

Wizard Traiborn's Key
Items Required: 25 bones
  1. To head to the Wizard's Tower, you have two easy options. Run there from Varrock, or perform a Lumbridge teleportation of some kind and run from there. Once at the tower, look on the second floor for Traiborn. You can entertain yourself with the possible speech options (and even earn some Spinach rolls with the right one), but just keep reminding him of him having a key and he'll tell you he needs 25 sets of bones to retrieve it.

  3. If you have the 25 bones, hand them over. If you don't, the basement conveniently has a lone chicken that will drop them easily enough. If you prefer a harder fight, the tower has wizards on every floor but the very top. Either way, when Traiborn has his 25 bones, he'll cast a spell and retrieve a cabinet before handing you the key from inside.

Vanquishing The Demon
Items Required: The Three Silverlight Keys
  1. Return to Sir Prysin and speak with him. He'll take the keys and unlock the case holding Silverlight, immediately giving it to you. Don't be fooled by the effects; its power lies chiefly in fighting demons.

  3. Speak with Aris again if you want reminding of the incantation. Otherwise, run south of the city and towards the stone circle outside. You'll see a little event in which Denath and two minions summon Delrith from the stone circle. Upon seeing you, however, Denath flees. At this point, you'll probably have to fight through one or two Dark wizards before you can reach Delrith. Beware, the level 20 wizard is harder to kill than Delrith if you're not prepared.

  5. Once you wear down Delrith's health with blows from Silverlight, he will kneel over and you can attempt to banish him by speaking the incantation. It lets you choose one word at a time, with no clear time limit.
    Aber, Camerinthum, Purchai, Carlem, Gabindo.
Put Delrith away, and you're done.
