- Speak with Charlie. He'll tell you about one of their missing associates, and then he'll tell you to look for Nickolaus.
- Go to Eagles' Peak (Located south of the Piscatoris Fishing Colony and north of Ardougne). Once you get there, you'll find a campsite that looks like this:
- Inspect the books and you'll get the Bird Book. Open it, and a Metal Feather should fall out. Skim the Book and read the Bald Eagle part.
 
- Walk towards the entrance of the Cave, which is up the Mountain. Use your Metal Feather with the Rocky Outcrop and the Door will open.
- Enter the Tunnel and take the Feathered Journal from the ground. Now instead of going east, head south near the Feathers. Grab twenty Feathers.
- Walk south, and you will come across a Cut-scene where Nickolaus will talk to you, telling you that he's stuck there and you'll need two Eagle Costumes to get him out.
- Teleport to Varrock, and take the Swamp Tar, Yellow Dye, the Feathers and fifty Gold Pieces to the Fancy Dress Shop (located in the eastern part of Varrock). Speak with the owner, and exchange your Swamp Tars, Yellow Dye, and feathers for two Beaks and Capes.
- Now, put on your Costume and head back to the cave and Nikolaus to start the first puzzle.
- Grab about twenty Seeds from the Birdseed Holder, and follow Steps 10 - 21 in order to solve the puzzle and get the Golden Feather (You can get the Feathers in any order you desire).
- To start off, go directly north and pull the first lever that you see (Lever A).
- Go to the south Wall and put Birdseed into the Feeder (Feeder 1). You will watch as one of the birds begin to move.
- Put some Birdseed into Feeder 2, which is very close to Feeder 1.
- Go around the two birds and pull Lever D, which is to the east.
- Return to Lever A and pull it once more.
- Walk south and put Birdseed into Feeder 3.
- Walk around the bird that just moved, and pull Lever C.
- Put some Birdseed into Feeder 4, which is very close to Lever A.
- Pull Lever B, which is to the west of Feeder 4.
- Go south once more and put some Birdseed into Feeder 6, which is a few steps south of Lever C.
- Head east of Feeder 6 and put some Birdseed into Feeder 3.
- Walk north and then west until you reach the Stone Pedestal, going around where that last bird once was. Take the Golden Feather, and then exit the Cave.
- To get the Silver Feather (Steps 22 - 25), go into the western Cave. When you enter, you'll see a Stone Pedestal. Touch it, and Tracks will appear (Similar to catching Kebbits).
- Walk east and inspect the Rocks, which will make more Tracks appear.
- Go northeast and inspect those Rocks, which will make more Tracks appear.
- Inspect the opening. A Level 13 Kebbit will appear. Kill it to get the Silver Feather, and then exit the Tunnel.
- To get the Bronze Feather, walk south to enter a Tunnel. In this one, you have to try and grab the Feather from the Pedestal. When you don't succeed, the Net Trap will go up. Operate each Winch in the corners until the Pedestal comes down and then grab the Feather.
- Head out the Door and put all of the Feathers into the Stone Door. Make sure you are wearing your Eagle Costume and walk past the Eagle, towards Nickolaus. Give him the Costume and he'll tell you to meet him back at the Campsite.
- Head back down and meet him at his Campsite. He'll catch a Ferret for you. Take that Ferret back to the Zoo and finish the quest!
