Start Point: Mord Gunnars in northern Rellekka

  • Head to Rellekka by using one of the methods mentioned above. Then head to the most northern docks to find a man named Mord Gunnars and his wife, Maria.

  • Speak to Mord Gunnars. It seems as though he was looking for you. He will tell you about himself and then tell you that the King of Jatizso has an important task for you. Ask him to ferry you to the island.

  • Once you arrive, head north into the city's walls and speak to King Gjuki Sorvott IV who is located in the first building on the west from the entrance. Before you speak to him, you may wish to equip your Catspeak Amulet from Icthlarin's Little Helper quest to listen to what Hrafn the Cat says. When you speak to him, he will try to tell you an important task but his cat, Hrafn, will keep interrupting for some Raw Tuna. If you do not have any Raw Tuna, you can fish some by the docks where it says Cage Fishing Spot/Harpoon Fishing Spot, if you have a Harpoon which you could use. Level 35 fishing is required. You could also purchase some from the Fishmonger by the docks named Flosi Dalksson, who is located in the Fish Shop, northeast of the King's Chamber. The Fish Shop is symbolized by a General Store Icon on your Map.

  • To give the piece of fish to Hrafn, speak to King Gjuki Sorvott IV again and he will ask if you have the Raw Tuna. He will then continue on about your mission objectives. An emergency will come up which will require you to obtain Ores for the Keldagrim's merchants. The number of Ores you need and the type of Ore depends on your Mining level. If you do not have the Ores, you can mine the Ores at the Mines, located northeast of the western Gatehouse, outside of the walls. Once you have the Ores, speak to Thorkel Silkbeard to give it to him. The King will order him to reward you with 5,000 Gold Pieces.

  • King Gjuki Sorvott IV will tell you about your next task. He will tell you that Neitiznot's Burgher, Mawnis Burowgar, is "simpleton and a fool." He is weary that he is up to something and is always out to get him. He does not want to wait to find out what Mawnis Burowgar's plans are any longer. You are to help infiltrate and find his spy who is located in Neitiznot. To get there, he will suggest to catch Mord Gunnar's ferry back to Relleka and then catch a ferry from there.

  • You will be required to wear a costume located in a chest and you will require a password. The password is 'free stuff please'. The spy's name is Slug Hemligssen. Before you leave, go south of the King's Chair and open the Chest. Take all four pieces of the Jester's Costume, Hat, Top, Tights, and Boots. Now wear the Jester's Costume.

  • Now head back south to the Docks and speak to Mord Gunnar who would make fun of your Costume. Or you could right click him and ferry back to Rellekka. Once there, ask Maria Gunnar to ferry you to Neitiznot. You could also right click her and ferry to Neitiznot.

  • Once there, head northeast along the path into the city walls. Just north of the Bank, you should be able to find Slug Hemligssen. Speak to him and say "Free stuff please.".

  • You will complain about the Operative name he has given you but then will continue to get down to business. You need to entertain Mawnis Burowgar and listen into his conversations. Before you begin the entertainment, head to the Bank and deposit everything but your Jester's Costume. You must be wearing your Jester's Costume.

  • Head south to the Tannery, south of the Bank, and speak to Mawnis Burowgar. A short cut scene will take place here.

  • Before you click on the conversation to continue, watch out for what Mawnis Burowgar tells you to do. Each time he says to do an emote, you must click on the options provided for you to do so. If you fail to do one quickly or click on the wrong one, you will need to start over again.

  • While you were entertaining, the two people at the back were speaking of their plans. You were to have paid attention. Go back to Slug Hemligssen and he will interrogate you. The options are: "They will be ready in two days." "Seventeen militia have been trained." "There are two bridges to repair." Once you have answered all three questions correctly, he will give you 2,500 Gold Pieces.

  • You are now to gain the trust of the townspeople of Neitiznot, including Mawnis Burowgar. Slug Hemligssen will suggest that you take off your Jester's Costume. Head to the Bank, south of Slug Hemligssen and bank your Costume. Now withdraw eight coils of Rope and a Woodcutting Axe, and prepare to do some tasks for the townspeople.

  • Head back into the Tanner's House, south of the Bank, and speak to Mawnis Burowgar. You will tell him who you are. You must gain his trust and prove loyalty to him. You are required to repair the Bridges. You will need eight coils of Rope. If you do not have eight coils of Rope, you can kill the Yaks and create them yourself by collecting Yak hair and using them on the Spinning Wheel located southeast of the town. Speak to either Mawnis Burowgar or Thakkrad Sigmundson and tell him you have the eight coils of Rope. Mawnis Burowgar will tell Thakkrad Sigmundson to reward you with 1,000 Gold Pieces. He will tell you to hold on to them for later use.

  • Your next task will require you to cut eight Arctic Pine Logs and split them into two. There are Woodcutting Stumps in the center of the village which you can use to split the logs on. The Arctic Pines are located all around the Village of Neitiznot. Each Tree can give you more than several logs. Click on an Arctic Pine and collect ten Arctic Pine Logs, two which you will need for later.

  • Once you have your eight Arctic Pine Logs, head back into the town's wall and go east of the Bank, where you should see Woodcutting Stumps. Click on the Woodcutting Stumps and then right click the option 'Artic pine split log' and select however many Logs you wish to split. You will need your Woodcutting Axe in order to do this.

  • Head back into the Tanner's House and speak to either Mawnis Burowgar or Thakkrad Sigmundson and tell him you have the eight Split Logs. Mawnis Burowgar will tell Thakkrad Sigmundson to reward you with 1,500 Gold Pieces. Thakkrad Sigmundson will then tell you to repair the two Bridges leading to the northern isle.

  • You will need your eight coils of Rope, eight Split Logs, and 1 Knife. Before you go, bank and retrieve those items. They cannot be noted. You may also want to bring some Food or Prayer Potions(4), Armor, and Weapons because there are Ice Trolls of different levels, some which will throw rocks at you, wandering north of Neitiznot. Once prepared, head northeast to the first Rope Bridge which you will need to cross. Click on the closest part of the Rope Bridge to you to cross.

  • Now head a bit north of the Rope Bridge which you have crossed and until you reach the Broken Rope Bridge. Right click the closest part of you and select Repair. You will then make your way across and repair it.

  • Now go back to the southern side of the Rope Bridge you have just repaired. The northern Isle is more dangerous than the southern one. Then cross the southern Rope Bridge, the first one you crossed, and walk east. This is to avoid as much confrontation with the Trolls as possible. Then cross the Rope Bridge directly north of the Town. Turn on Protection from either Range or Melee, whichever you are more vulnerable to. Head north and repair the Rope Bridge.

  • After repairing, make your way back into Neitiznot's Tannery and speak to Mawnis Burowgar. Mawnis Burowgar will tell Thakkrad Sigmundson to reward you with 1,500 Gold Pieces. He will then tell you his plans which is to assault the Troll Caves. You are now to inform King Gjuki Sorvott IV of Jatizso and find out if he has learned Mawnis Burowgar's plans.

  • Head back to the Jatizso by heading southwest of Neitiznot to the docks and right click Maria Gunnars to ferry back to Rellekka. Once there, right click Mord Gunnars and ferry to Jatizso.

  • Head back to King Gjuki Sorvott IV in his chamber once you have arrived at Jatizso. Tell him that the Bridges have been repaired. He will continue to think that Mawnis Burowgar is planning an attack on his town. You are to tax the Shopkeepers of Jatizso, 1,000 Gold Pieces per Window of their building. Thorkel Silkbeard will give you an Empty Tax Bag to collect the Gold Pieces in.

  • Here are the locations which you should visit and how many Windows they have:

    • Speak to either Keepa Kettilon or Flosi Dalksson of the Fish Shops located on the northeast side of Jatizso. The Fish Shop is symbolized as a General Store on the map. There will be five Windows. Speak to one of them and charge them 5,000 Gold Pieces.
    • West of the Fish Shops is the Food Hall. Speak to Vanligga Gastfrihet and collect 5,000 Gold Pieces for five Windows. If you offer to pay for her taxes, she will open her Yak Produce Shop to you. If you do not, you could give her a refund after you have completed the quest by speaking to her.
    • Further west is the Weapons Shop, where the Anvil is located. Speak to Skuli Myrka and collect 6,000 Gold Pieces.
    • South of the Anvil are the Armor and Ore Shops. Speak to either Raum Urda-Stein or Hring Hring to collect a hefty tax of 8,000 Gold Pieces.

Your Tax Bag should now be a Normal Tax Bag.

  • Now speak to either Thorkel Silkbeard or King Gjuki Sorvott IV and tell them you have collected the money. You will now have to collect taxes for people who have Beards and Mustaches.

  • The people you should speak to are:

    • Flosi Dalksson the Fishmonger, located northeast in the Fish Shops.
    • Keepa Kettilon the Cook, located northeast in the Fish Shops.
    • Skuli Myrka, owner of the Weapons Shop, west side of the town.
    • Raum Urda-Stein, owner of the Armor Shop, south of the Anvil.
    • Hring Hring, owner of the Ore Shop, south of the Anvil.

In total, you should have now 29,000 Gold Pieces, and your Tax Bag should now be called Hefty Tax Bag.

  • Now speak to either Thorkel Silkbeard or King Gjuki Sorvott IV and tell them you have collected the taxes. Thorkel Silkbeard will state that they finally have enough. You will now have to go back to Neitiznot.

  • Head back to Neitiznot by ferrying. Once you are at Neitiznot, bank and deposit everything, including what you are wearing. Withdraw your Jester's Costume and equip it. Speak to Slug Hemligssen. He will tell you that you need to carry out another spy mission by entertaining Mawnis Burowgar and his kinsfolks again. Like the first time, click on the correct Emote while listening in on the conversation in the background.

  • Report back to Slug Hemligssen. He will, once again, interrogate you. The answers are, "They are in a secluded bay, near Etceteria." "They will be given some potions." and "I have been helping Neitiznot." He will then reward you with 2,500 Gold Pieces.

  • Head back to the Jatizso by heading southwest of Neitiznot to the docks and right click Maria Gunnars to ferry back to Rellekka. Once there, right click Mord Gunnars and ferry to Jatizso. Report to King Gjuki Sorvott IV. You will then lecture the King for being so paranoid and ignorant. He will continue to be paranoid. He will tell you to deliver a Royal Decree to Mawnis Burowgar.

  • Before you go, if you do not have a Bronze Nail, Bronze Bar, Copper, or Tin, take this opportunity to buy one Copper and one Tin from Hring Hring. Then cast Superheat on the Ores and bring a Hammer to Rellekka. On Relleka, use your Bronze Bar on the Anvil and create some Bronze Nails which you will need for later use.

  • Go back to Neitiznot and go to Mawnis Burowgar. Before you speak to him, take off your Jester's Costume. Now speak to give him the Royal Decree. He will then tell you to be properly equipped with Fremennik equipment.

  • Bank and withdraw a Weapon and Armor. Equip yourself and head southwest of the town and into the Yak pen. Kill three level 22 Yaks and collect their Yak-Hides. Now withdraw 15 Gold Pieces, one Needle, and two spindles of Thread. If you do not have any Needles or Threads, you may purchase them from Jofridr Mordstatter who is located in the Bank. Speak to Thakkrad Sigmundson. He will tan your Yak-Hides for 5 Gold Pieces each. Use your Needle on the Cured Yak-Hides and create one Yak-Hide Armour, which will require two pieces of Cured Yak-Hide, and one Yak-Hide Armour (leggings), which will require one. Equip them.

  • Now speak to Mawnis Burowgar again and tell him you have your Yak-Hide Armour ready. You will now need to construct a Shield. For this, bank and withdraw your 1 Bronze Nail, 2 Arctic Pine Logs, 1 Woodcutting Axe, 1 coil of Rope, and 1 Hammer. If you do not have two Arctic Pine Logs, you can go outside of the town's walls and cut down an Arctic Pine.

  • Head back to the center of the town and click on the Woodcutting Stump. Select 'Fremennik round shield'. Once created, equip it.

  • Talk to Mawnis Burowgar again. You will be required to go through a ritual and then Burowgar will appoint you the Champion of Neitiznot.

  • Now bank and prepare for battle. The Troll King, level 122, uses mostly Range, and sometimes Magic and Melee. It will hit and knock you back if you turn on Protection from Melee. If you turn on Protection from Range, he may cast Ice Barrage which will freeze you while inflicting damage. He will also range you. It is suggested that you wear the Yak-Hide Armor (both top and bottom), the Fremennik Shield, a Weapon, and Ring of Life, bring 1 Super Set, 2-3 Prayer Potions(4), Cooked Sharks, and Emergency Teleport Device. Turn off Auto-Retaliate.

  • Once you are ready, venture north to the most Eastern Cave.

  • Upon arrival, the troops will require you to kill 10 Trolls. These Trolls will either melee or range you. They can inflict a great deal of damage if you do not have your Fremennik Shield and Yak-Hide Armors equipped. The Male Trolls and Troll Runts hit you, while the Female Trolls throw rocks at you. Once you have killed ten, you may go kill the Troll King. You may also speak to Bork Sigmundson near the Cave Entrance, for Strength and Prayer Potions, and Tuna. You may also wish to go back to the town and bank if you feel that you do not have enough supplies.

  • Drink your Super Set, if you have any, and run over to the Rope Bridge south and cross it. You will appear in the cave alone with the Troll King. Turn on Protection from Magic and Auto-Retaliate. He is weakest against Melee attacks. Ranged and Magic attacks will have almost no effect on him. Kill him.

  • Once he is dead, click on the Troll King and decapitate him.

  • You can either teleport out now or run back to Neitiznot. Once there, speak to Mawnis Burowgar. He will give you his Crown for the Troll King's Head and a total of 20,000 Experience Points in two Combat Skills of your choice, 10,000 Experience Points each in either Attack, Strength, Defence, or Hitpoints.
