Requirements: Level 25 Agility and Level 20 Cooking and must defeat a Level 32 Lobster.
Need to have done the following Quests:
- Priest In Peril
- The Restless Ghost
Items Needed: Some Coins, A Cup of Tea, a Water Filled Bowl, a Bucket of Milk, Gloves, every Color Dye, A Ghostspeak Amulet, a Bucket and Pot, a Spade, an Oak Longbow, a Knife, Thread, Silk, and a Needle.

Starting Point: Inside Port Phasmatys, speak with Velorina
Warning: Necrovarus can summon up Level 72 Vampires when he's angry, you don't have to kill these, but they do walk around and intimidate you.
- Make sure you have the Ghostspeak Amulet and a Bucket and Pot with you, the rest of the Items can stay in the Bank for now. There is a Bank in Port Phasmatys where you can pick them up as needed.
- Head East from Canifis, walk past Fenkenstrain's Castle and past the Undead Farm. You should reach a large Temple-like Building. Inside the Building you will see the Ectofunctus, two Ghost Disciples and a Ghost called Necrovarus. Speak with him and with one of his Disciples.
- Head to the Undead Farm and kill an Undead Cow and pick up its Bones, head Upstairs in the Temple and grind the Bones using the Machine. Now go down into the Temple Basement, walk along the Path and down the Stairs until you reach a Lake filled with Ectoplasm, use your Bucket on it.
- Head all the way Upstairs again and worship at the Ectofunctus, now speak with one of the Disciples and he will give you five Ectotokens. Each time you do this you get five Tokens.
- Pay the Guards at the Wall two Tokens and he will allow you to enter the City, once you're in head East and speak with Velorina, she's in the House with the Quest Symbol. Here you will start the Quest.
- Velorina asks you to speak with Necrovarus, do this and he will send you away in a rude way. Head back to Velorina and she tells you about an Old Disciple that ran away from Necrovarus and gives you a description of the House. Head to the Bank and grab your Gloves.
- The House she's talking about is East of the Slayer Tower. Inside ,you will find a Woman, speak with her and she tells you she has a bad memory and that a nice Cup of Nettle Tea will fix that.
- Just a little bit Northeast of the Slayer Master in Canifis is a Patch with Nettles. Put on your Gloves and pick one. Head back to port Phasmatys, as you will probably have to get more Tokens. When you're inside pick up your Bowl, Milk, and the Cup of Tea. Drink the Tea and keep the Cup, use your Nettles on the Bowl and cook it. Use it on the Cup and you will have your Cup of Nettle Tea.
- Head back to the Old Woman and tell her you have her Tea. She will give you her Special Cup, use your Cup of Nettle Tea on it and then the Milk. Give it to the Old Woman.
- She tells you about an Enchantment she can put on your Ghostspeak Amulet which will force Necrovarus to release the Ghosts. Talk to the Old Lady again and ask if you can do something for her, she will then give you a Toy Boat that belonged to her Son. Speak with Velorina about the Items.
The Robe of Necrovarus:
- Head to the Town and into the Inn, speak with Robin, he will ask you to collect a Clean Sheet. Speak with the Inn Owner and ask him for a Job, he will give you a Bed Sheet. Keep this.
- Head into the Temple and dip the Sheet in the Ectoplasm Lake. Head back into the Town and wear the Bed Sheet. Speak with the Ghost holding a Sign near the Town Gate. He will ask you to go around with a Petition.
- Head around the Village and speak to the Villagers, some will sign it for free and others will require Tokens for their signature. Once you've collected ten Signatures head back to the Ghost with the Petition. He will direct you to Necrovarus.
- Speak with Necrovarus, he becomes angry and burns the Petition, in his rage he drops a Key. Pick it up and head to the Second Floor of the Temple. Open the Door and search the Coffin for the Robe.
The Translation Book:
- Head to the Docks in the Town and speak with Ak-Haranu, he will give you the Book in exchange for an Oak Longbow signed by Robin.
- Speak with Robin and he will play a Game with you. Beat him four times and he will sign your Bow. For instructions on how to play ask Robin.
- Give the Bow to Ak-Haranu and he will give you the Book.
The Book of Haricanto:
- Head to the Shipwreck North of the Undead Farm, and search the Chests on the bottom Floor.. A Giant Lobster should attack you when you search the correct Chest. Kill the Lobster and search the Chest for a Map Piece. Now head Upstairs and cross the Gangplank. Jump the Rocks until you reach a Chest. Search it for your second Map Piece.
- Now head back to the Ship and to the top Floor. When the Wind is low, search the Mast for the colors of the Flag. Make sure you know all three. Now head back to the Town and withdraw your Thread, Needle, Silk, and Knife and repair the Model Boat. Now dye the Flag into the colors of the Flag from the Shipwreck.
- Now show the Model Boat to the Old Man in the Shipwreck. He will recognize it as his Ship, and allows you to have the Key. Open the Chest and pick up your third Map Piece. Use them on each other to make a full Map.
- Now make sure you have twenty-five Ecto Tokens with you, your Spade and the Map. Speak with the Captain standing by the Rowboat at the Towns Docks. He will take you to Dragontooth Island for twenty-five Tokens.
- When you're on the Island follow the directions on the Map and dig up the Book.
- Finishing the Quest:
- Head back to the Old Woman and she will enchant your Amulet, the Orange Gem will now shine with a green glow. Head to the Temple and speak with Necrovarus and command him to release the Ghosts.
- Head back into Town and speak with Velorina to complete the Quest.
