Members Only: Yes

You don't need to complete any other Quests to do this one--not even Between a Rock or Fremmenik Trials.

Items Required: 200 Gold Pieces, 3 Sapphires, 1 Coal, 1 Log, 1 Tinderbox, 1 Redberry Pie, 1 Iron Bar, and Telegrab Runes (1 Law and 1 Air). Falador Teleport Runes are also recommended. Those Items are required-- however, later in the Quest, you'll also need Ore and Bars. You'll be asked for Copper, Tin, Iron, Coal, Silver, Gold, Mithril, etc; in loads of 3, 4, or 5 Ore each. There's really no need to stock up on every type of Ore though-- you can decline any tasks you don't want. So, in effect, you could bring a lot of Iron with you, and if you're asked to get Coal, just refuse. Keep asking until you get an Iron task, accept it, and hand over the Iron. The final task (only one) will require you to bring smelted Bars. The same rule applies here, be it Bronze, Iron, Steel Bars, etc...

There is a Bank in the Quest before you need anything, so don't worry about bringing stuff at first.

Start Point: Head for the Cave northeast of Relekka. The Entrance is shown here:

  1. Once inside the Cave, take a few short steps to another Cave Entrance between two Statues.

  2. On the other side of the Tunnel is a Dwarven Ferryman and a Dwarven Boatman. The Boatman offers to take you to Keldagrim for free! Accept his offer.

A Cinematic follows, explaining the history behind the City. A Camera pans around, showing you the glory of the City. But when something goes wrong on the Boat, you crash into the Statue of King Alvis and break it! You are then taken under arrest and away by the Dwarven Black Guard. Commander Veldaban begins to Question you, but you learn he has no bad intentions. He actually wants you to go to Blasidar, a Sculptor who lives in Keldagrim-East, and see about rebuilding the Statue.

  3. Walk across the northern Bridge. He's in the House just northwest of the Pub and east of the Gigantic Trading Building:

Blasidar needs you to find some Items for him. He says:

    • "I will need a pair of Boots, the most exquisite Boots you can find. The more they look like the original the better, but I don't think you'll be able to find an exact match."

    • "For the Torso, I need Clothes that look like King Alvis' Clothes. I'm not sure where you would be able to find them, but I'm sure you'll manage."

    • "Also, I need a Battleaxe. Now this is particularly important. You are in luck, however, as I believe King Alvis' original Axe still survives."

    Getting the Boots:

Items Needed: Telekinetic Grab Runes (1 Law and 1 Air)

  4. Go to the Building as far southwest as you can go.

  5. Talk to Saro there. He'll tell you he sold some extravagant Boots to a rich guy named Dromund. Dromund lives nearby, in the House directly north of the Bank.

  6. Talk to him, but he'll say he will not let you take his Boots. Keep trying to take the Left Boot until you steal it.

  7. You can't take the Right Boot away with the Cat there, so go outside. Stand right in front of the Window and cast Telekinetic Grab on the Right Boot to get it.

  8. Getting the Clothes:

Items Needed: 1 Coal, 1 Log, 1 Tinderbox, 200 Gold Pieces
  9. Go to the Gigantic Trading Building (East side) and talk to Vermundi the Clothes Merchant. She'll tell you to see Hugi the Librarian about it. He's located in the west part of Town:

  10. Hugi tells you to search the Library for the Book 'Scholars Guide to Dwarven Costumes' and to search the top Shelves of Bookcases. If you are heavily armored, the ladder will be unable to hold your weight. You have to go to the nearby Bank and deposit whatever you can to weigh less, then come back and search the Bookcase next to the north Doorway to find the Book.

  11. Head back to Vermundi. She can make the Clothes, but she needs Coal and Wood to start her Spinning Machine.

  12. Get one of each and use one of them with the Spinning Machine, then light it with a Tinderbox.

  13. Talk to her again, and pay her 200 Gold Pieces for the material. In exchange, you'll finally get the Clothes!

  14. Getting the Battleaxe:

Items Needed: 3 Sapphires, 1 Redberry Pie, 1 Iron Bar (Falador Teleport Runes Recommended)

  15. Talk to Santiri in the Building as far northwest as you can go. He'll talk of King Alvis' Axe, and that it is in need of repair. Tell him you'll repair it.

  16. You'll need to use three Sapphires with the Axe to repair the Hilt. Now all it needs is sharpening! Santiri tells you he needs the help of an Imcando Dwarf to repair the Axe.

  17. Go to the Dwarf, Thurgo, south of Port Sarim, who is a major part of The Knight's Sword Quest. Teleport to Falador or take the Railway to get there faster. Bring Thurgo a Redberry Pie and the Axe to get him to talk. Give him an Iron Bar to fix it up, and you'll receive the Sharpened Axe! Better yet, you'll get the option to immediately return to Keldagrim!

  18. Back to Blasidar:

Items Needed: Various Ore and Bars

  19. Blasidar will tell you he doesn't know what the Head should look like. Apparently, each of the Consortium directors has their own opinion. Go up to the second Floor of the Gigantic Trading Building for this next part of the Quest. Find a Company you like and talk to the Secretary. Ask what you can do for them. Accept or decline, it doesn't matter--successfully complete five tasks to have the opportunity of talking to the Director. (Tip: For experienced Thievers, when you are asked to get Silver Ore, head Downstairs to the Silver Stall and steal some.) Now to advance further, you'll need to become part of the Company. Ask for one more task from the Director. Complete it and then ask to be part of the Company. He'll make you an Associate. Tell him about the Statue, and let him know that you'll vouch for him at the meeting.

  20. Go back to Veldaban and tell him what has happened. He'll offer to take you to the meeting. You'll see a Cinematic play during the Meeting:
