Requirements:
  • Level 50 Prayer
  • Level 16 Crafting
  • Level 30 Construction
  • Completion of the Cabin Fever, Creature of Fenkenstrain, and the Saving Pirate Pete section of Recipe for Disaster quests is required.
Items Needed:
  • 10 Furs (Can be purchased from the Fur Trader in Ardougne)
  • 25 Planks *
  • A Hammer
  • 60 Nails (Of any kind) *
  • 1 Tinderbox
  • 1 Book of Piracy
  • 1 Ring of Charos (a)
  • 1 Holy Symbol
  • 1 Fishbowl Helmet
  • 1 Diving Apparatus (Both of which are obtainable from Murphy in Port Khazard).
* The specific amount of Planks and Nails needed depends on your Construction level. If you don't have a high Construction level, it is adviced to bring more Planks and Nails than written above.

Recommended Items:
  • A charged Amulet of Glory
  • Good Armor (Rune or higher; No Helmet as the Fishbowl must be worn)
  • A Melee Weapon
  • Food (Lobsters or higher) are recommended.
Start Point: Speak with Brother Tranquility on Mos Le'Harmless. He is near the Dock.

  • Brother Tranquility will teleport you to the Island of Harmony. Speak with him again, and he will tell you of a secret Tunnel into the Monastery. This Tunnel is underneath a Statue in the garden.

  • Exit the Mill and walk northeast until you reach a Statue. Pull the Statue and climb down.

  • Put on your Fishbowl and Diving Apparatus and climb down the Stairs. Head to the eastern part of the Cavern, past all of the Zombie Pirates. If you have at least 10 Nails, a Hammer and 4 Planks with you, then you can repair the Stairs. If not, then go back to Brother Tranquility and have him teleport you to Mos Le'Harmless, where you can get these materials.

  • Once repaired, climb up the Stairs and the Ladder. Peer through the Peephole in the western Wall and listen to the conversation. The two people are talking about Sleeping Gas.

  • Return and talk to Brother Tranquility. He'll tell you about countering the Gas with a Prayer written centuries ago by one of the abbots of the Edgeville Monastery.

  • Head to the Edgeville Monastery and search the Bookcase in the southern corner of the western Building to find the Book containing the Prayer.

  • Go back to Brother Tranquility on Harmony Island. After speaking with him, right click on the Prayer Book and click the "Recite prayer" option.

  • Talk with him again and he will tell you to bring Doctor Fenkenstrain to Harmony to perform the operation.

  • Go to Dr. Fenkenstrain's Castle west of the Ectofuntus and north of Canifis. Head to the top of the Castle and speak with him. After telling him that there is a "werewolf-free place for him on the island," he'll tell you to speak with Rufus about smuggling him out in a Crate full of Meat.

  • Put on your Ring of Charos (a) and speak with Rufus in the Raw Meat Shop of Canifis. He'll give you the Pieces of a Crate and a Wolf Whistle. He'll also tell you to fill the Crate with Cats.

  • Go to any Player-Owned House with a Workshop Room and a Crafting Table. There, using your ten Furs and ten Planks, build ten Wooden Cats.

  • With those cats in your Inventory, return to Fenkenstrain with ten Planks, a Hammer and 45 Nails. Build the Crate in the Crate Hotspot. Talk with him, and build a bottom to the Crate. After that, use the Cats with the Crate to fill it up. Then use the Wolf Whistle to call Rufus. You will watch a Cutscene and receive a Shipping Label.

  • Paste the Label onto the Crate and it will be teleported.

  • Get a Tinderbox and return to Harmony Island. Talk with Brother Tranquility again; he will tell you to go downstairs and talk to Fenkenstrain. Fenkenstrain tells you that he needs a Cranial Clamp, a pair of Brain Tongs, three Bell Jars, at least thirty Skull Staples and a Hammer.

  • Now exit the Mill and go north to the Boat and search the Locker on the western side for a Fuse. After this, go upstairs and pick up the Keg of Gun Powder.

  • Exit the Boat and head south to the Door of the large Building in the middle of the Island. Use your Keg and Fuse with the Door, then your Tinderbox with the Fuse to blow the Door open.

  • Squeeze through the Doorway and kill the Sorebones inside to get the required Items (Besides the Hammer). It should only take a few kills to get them.

  • Once you have all of the Items, return and talk to Dr. Fenkenstrain. He'll take all of the Items and, after a short Cutscene, tell you to go upstairs.

  • Speak with Brother Tranquility, who will suggest that you have the Monks bless you. Speak with all of the Monks on that floor and, after they've complained about their head injuries, you're good to go. If you would like, you can have Brother Tranquility teleport you back to Mos Le'Harmless to prepare for you finalbattle.

  • Go into the Building once more, and you should see Mi-Gor. After taunting him a bit, his Level 190 bodyguard, "Barrelchest", will appear. Kill Barrel chest and pick up the Anchor that he leaves behind (Note: Barrelchest can do a lot of damage in one blow, so make sure to have good Food. Also, Prayer is essentially useless in this battle, as it will be drained).

  • Return and talk with Brother Tranquility about the Mi-Gor having left. He will give you a Lamp blessed by Saradomin, that will give you 5,000 Experience in the Skill (Over Level 30) of your choice.

Congratulations! You have completed the quest!

The Book o' Piracy can be stored in the Bookcases of your Player-Owned House. The Prayer Book, however, can not. But it is reobtainable at the Edgeville Monastery.

Barrelchest Anchor: On the Docks of Mos Le'Harmless, there is a Pirate named Smithy. If you use your Barrelchest Anchor with Smith, he'll fix it up for a nominal fee of 230,000 Gold Pieces. The Anchor weighs 30kg but provides a great Strength and Crushing bonus. You will need a Strength level 40 and 60 Attack in order to wield this weapon though. Don't forget that if you want to speak to him to repair your Anchor again, you need to have your Book o' Piracy in your inventory.
