Catching Imps
Items Required: None
- Ascend to the top floor of the tower and speak with Wizard Mizgog. Between the two on the floor, he's the one in blue. If you ask nicely, he'll tell you that his tower-mate, Wizard Grayzag, has summoned hundreds of imps to make off with his valuables. He wants you to retrieve four beads in specific.

- Go downstairs and find some Imps to kill. They're scattered quite literally all over the place in Runescape, but there are a few locations you're probably familiar with that will be useful to list.
- One in Lumbridge, near the sheep pen.
- One south of Varrock, near the Champion's guild.
- Two at the Monestary near Edgeville.
- Three in South Falador, jumping between outside and behind the castle (ranged recommended).
- At least five on Karamja Volcano (level 29 recommended; Scorpions lurk here as well).
It's worth exploring the Volcano area if you won't be bothered by the Scorpions. If not, the area south of Falador (containing the yew trees, the bridge near the castle moat, and the guards) is a good place to hunt. The only problem there is that Imps teleporting behind the castle will be untouchable except by ranged or magic. However you choose to hunt Imps, you need to retrieve one of each colored bead. Hold onto the others; they fetch a fair price when sold.
Note: Imps teleport at random. This includes while fighting.
- Upon earning one of each of the beads, return to Mizgog. He'll claim them, place them on the little dais on his table, and give you your reward.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Q: Can't I just buy the beads?
- A: Yes, if you can pay for them. Members use them as Imp bait in Hunter, so they're not the cheapest quest item on the market.
- Q: Do different imps in different areas drop more of a certain kind of bead?
- A: To the best of our knowledge, no. However, yellow is more common than the others, and white is the rarest.
