Official Information from Jagex
Start Point: Lumbridge Castle
To Start: Speak to Sigmund
Quest Length: Medium
Minimum Requirements:
- Level 17 Mining
- Level 13 Agility
- Level 13 Thieving
- Must have completed Rune Mysteries
- Must have completed Goblin Diplomacy
Members Only: Yes
Items Needed: Teleport Runes to Varrock, Lumbridge and Falador suggested; Pickaxe; a Candle or Lantern of some kind (Candle can be bought from the Candle Shop in Catherby or the Candle Seller outside of the Lumbridge Dungeon in the Swamp.); Tinderbox. You should not need any Food, Armour, or Weapons but I suggest a few pieces of Food just in case you get hit by a Rock or your Candle goes out.
Reward: 1 Quest Point, 3,000 Mining Experience, Ring of life, and access to the Dorgeshuun Mine.
- Go to the second Floor of the Castle and talk to Sigmund and the Duke.
- Talk to the Townspeople. The Person needed is different for everyone, and could be Bob, Hans, the Priest, or the Cook; there may be others, too.
- Talk to the Duke and he will say that you should try to un-block the blocked Passage.
- Now you will need a Candle or Lantern of some kind and a Pickaxe. Go into the Cellar.
Note: Make sure you have a Lantern or Candle at this point or once you enter the Cave you will be attacked by little Creatures that hit 1's rather fast.*
- Unblock the Tunnel and at the first split in the Paths you will find a Brooch. Take the Southwest Path and dig out the Hole there just in case, because I don't know if you will be able to dig it through the other way. Better safe than sorry right? This is so if you fall through a Hole while trying to get to Mistag, you may return to the Cavern easier.
- Take it to the Duke to see what he says. He says to go to Reldo in the Varrock Castle (he is in the North Room).
- Reldo will tell you about a Book he filed the other day and to search the West Bookshelves for it.
After reading the Book you find out that the Brooch matches the Dorgeshuun Tribe Symbol, one of the twelve Tribes from the third Age.
- Go back to the Duke and tell him your findings, he will ask that you find out more about them.
- Now go North of Falador and talk to the Goblins in the Goblin Village, specifically General Wartface and General Bentnoze. It will take awhile, but go through everything and get them to teach you the two new Emotes "Goblin Bow" and "Goblin Dance".
- Now go to the Duke and tell him your findings he will now start to prepare his Troops for an underground assault, but will ask you to find more information still.
- Go back into the Caves under the Castle and use the Symbols on the Floor to guide you; they match some of the Symbols in the Book that you got from Reldo. Go the direction they indicate. Be Careful to make sure you read the Symbols carefully and correctly or else you will fall through a Hole in the Ground and end up in the Lumbridge Swamp Dungeon, or you will be hit by falling Rocks.
- Once you reach the end of the Tunnel talk to the Goblin there named Mistag. When you talk to him he will become afraid of you. Use your new Emote Goblin Bow acquired from the Goblin Generals at Goblin Village and he relaxes.

- Return to the Duke and tell him you made contact. He will say that some Silverware was taken from the Cellar, and that unless returned it will be war.
- Pickpocket Sigmund and get a Key. Go into the next Room and open a Chest to get a set of HAM Robes.
- Go to the HAM Hideout just West of the Lumbridge Castle. Follow the dirt Path, and Picklock the Trapdoor. Then search the first Crate and you will find the Silverware.
- After speaking to the Duke and returning the Silverware you will be given a Peace Treaty to take to the Goblins.
- Enter the Cellar Cave again. When you get to the spot where you found the Brooch, you will meet a Goblin named Kazgar (he will be posted there from now on). He will take you directly to the Mine, so no more walking through the Tunnel Maze.
- Talk to Mistag and go to Lumbridge Castle with him. The Duke and the Leader of the Goblins will sign the Treaty and then you see Sigmund outside the Door listening and then saying that soon they will be destroyed. Then you claim your Reward.
