Quest Start: Jorral in the Outpost found northwest of West Ardougne. (Map)
- Go speak with Jorral in the outpost, found in the tower northwest of West Ardougne
He'll talk to you about the Enchanted Key again and will give you the key again. You will have to deposit all items you brought, but don't worry, you don't need any of them.
- Go to the East, cross the bridge over the river.
- Go to northwest of Ardougne West Bank by the furnace used in the Sheep Herder quest (Map), and right click your Enchanted Key and select 'Rub Key'.
- Talk to Laura, who is building a shed. Apparently you've gone back in the history of RuneScape.
- Rub the key again to go back to current time and go talk with Jorral again about your findings.
- Jorral will tell you he read that rubbing different parts of the key will result in arriving at another time. You will have to get information from all three members of the family.
- Go back to the area we've shown you on the map and rub part A of the key. Talk with Jack to learn he wants to become the most powerful druid. You'll be able to use that information in Past B. Also go speak with Roger. He'll have problems with his daughter Sarah. You'll have to talk to Sarah when she's older to find out the problem.
- Use the key to go to Past B.
- Speak with Jack, talk about his youth, and talk about reading his mind. The answers to the questions he asks can be found below in white. After answering the questions he'll ask you why the trees never grew.
- Speak to Laura. She wanted to have done more adventures instead of just taking care of her family. She wished she had a map of RuneScape.
- Roger has completely lost his mind, so he isn't worth talking to now.
- Sarah is weeding the garden behind the house. Go talk to her about General chat first. She'll explain she had an illness since her birth that needed a medicine made from milk, honey and guam.
Then talk about the trees. She'll explain that the avocado tree should've been closer to water and the quince further away.
- With that done, we go back to the Past by rubbing part A.
- Go behind the farm, take a Spade and some pots. Remove all seedlings by using a spade on them. Use them in the following order, illustrated by the imPast below.
- Now go inside the farm and search the Shelves found in the southwest corner. Take a papyrus and charcoal and use the Charcoal on the Papyrus. You'll draw a Map of RuneScape. Go give this map to Laura by using it on her.
- Go back inside the farm and search some more Shelves and the Side Table to find a bowl, a Bucket of Milk, Pestle and Mortar and a Clean Guam. Go outside and use the Bowl on the Beehive. Use the Bucket of Milk on the Bowl. Ground the Guam and add the Ground Guam to the bowl as well.
Give it to Baby Sarah by using it on her. With his mind at ease, Roger will now give you a lot of information.
- Go to Past B, speak with Jack. Jack will explain about magic and runes.
- Speak with Laura. She has only one regret now: she had a Brooch which she lost.
- Go to past A and search for the Brooch on the bedside table. Use the Brooch on the Soil Mound, found just next to Laura.
- Go to past B and go inside the Shed. Pick up a Spade and use it on the Soil Mound to get the Brooch. Talk to Laura again and she'll talk about her history.
- Rub the Key to go back to Present time. Go speak with Jorral to finish the quest.

 For completing the quest, Jorrel gives you a Tome. This Tome awards experience to three skills of your choice. The first and second skill you choose award 1,000 experience to that skill, and the third and final skill is awarded 500 experience.
Like the previous quest in this series, you're able to hunt for treasure all over RuneScape!
