Requirements:
- Must have completed: Eadgar's Ruse, The Feud and Jungle Potion.
- Must have done some work on the Tai Bwo Wannai Clean Up mini-game.
- Level 10 Woodcutting
- Level 29 Farming
- Must be able to defeat a level 172 Monster.
- Level 61 Magic is an advantage
- It might be useful to have completed Enakhra's Lament.
Required Items: Climbing Boots, a Bucket, a Rake, a Seed Dibber, a Spade, three Buckets of Camel Dung (Can be obtained during the Quest),
seven Buckets of Super Compost, a Machete, and an Axe
Recommended Items: A Charged Games Necklace or Trollheim Teleport Runes, around 3,000 Gold Pieces, Food, a few Anti-poison Potion(s), a Weapon,
Armour that is good against Melee and Ranged attacks, and a Prayer Potion could be useful.
Starting Point: Talk to Burntmeat in the Troll Stronghold Kitchen.
- After speaking with Burntmeat, you'll see a Cutscene. He will then tell you to talk to My Arm.
- Go speak to My Arm, who is located to the east, near the caged Goats.
- After talking to him, go speak with Burntmeat quickly, and then head to Death Plateau.
- Once there, click the "Search" option on the Giant Cauldron. You should receive a Goutweedy Lump. If you don't have one already, grab the Bucket nearby.

- Return to My Arm and speak with him. Give him the Goutweedy Lump. You will automatically follow him through the caves. Remember where he takes you, as you will need to come back that way again. If you don't have any of your Farming Supplies with you, you can get them from the Sunbathing Leprechaun (Assuming he is holding some of them beforehand).

- Speak with My Arm, and he will give you a Book. Read the Book to learn how to grow things in the mountain. After reading it, you should realize that you need to treat his patch with three Buckets of Dung and seven Buckets of Super Compost. Speak with My Arm again, and you will mention getting your Camulet and talking to some Camels.
- If you do not have three Buckets of Camel Dung yet, then you can get them by either asking Al the Camel in Al Kharid for some, or by using Hot Sauce (Given to you by Ali the Kebab Salesman) with the Camel Trough in Pollnivneach. Once the Dung has dropped, use your Buckets to fill them with the Dung.
(Note: While speaking with Al the Camel, you must have your Camulet on).
- Return to the Farming Patch. Use all seven Super Composts and the three Buckets of Camel Dung on the Patch. When you've added all of the Super Composts and Camel Dung, you will get a message telling you that you've added enough. Now talk to My Arm. He says that you have to go to Tai Bwo Wannai Village and see Murcaily about growing the Goutweed.
- Following a Cutscene, you will be in Ardougne. Speak with Captain Barnaby, and tell him, "This is My Arm. We'd like to go to Karamja."

- Once on Brimhaven, My Arm will run to the Village. Follow My Arm to Tai Bwo Wannai Village. My Arm will be near the General Store. He should be easy to spot, as Trolls tend to stand out when not amongst other Trolls.
- Now go talk to Murcaily near the fenced off Mahogany and Teak Tree area. Tell him that a Troll would like a favour from him. He will tell you that you need a special type of Gout Tuber. He'll tell you that he will only give some to you if you obtain 60% Favour for him, so go hack some dense jungle, and help out around the place (Assuming that you don't already have 60% Favour). It is a very smart idea to make sure you have Anti-Poison Potions if you are going to be hacking dense jungle. You can go inform My Arm of what Murcaily said, and how you have to do a lot of work if you want to.
- Once you have 60% Favour, speak with Murcaily again. He will give you the Hardy Goutweed. After a Cutscene involving My Arm going completely crazy, Murcaily will give you even more to take him away. Take My Arm back to Ardougne, via the Boat.
- Once you are in Ardougne, My Arm will tell you to go to the Bank and get your fighting stuff. Go to the bank and withdraw your Armour, Weapons (Magic or Ranged attacks, preferably), some Food and your Farming Equipment. Once you have everything, head back to the Farming Patch where My Arm will be waiting for your return.
- When you are back at My Arm's quiet place, talk to him and teach him how to farm. First, hand him a Rake and have him rake away the Weeds in the patch you've made.

- Next, give him a Bucket of Compost or Super Compost and he'll use it on the Patch.
- Finally, give him a Seed Dibbler and the Hardy Gout Tubers to plant in the Soil. Once he plants the Hardy Gout Tuber, a Drunken Dwarf will come by and My Arm will pick him up and throw him off the cliff and an unnamed Troll Child will wander by to look at the dead Drunken Dwarf.
- Give My Arm a Plant Cure Potion (the Tool Leprechaun sells them).
- He will mention something about the Birds watching you. A Baby Roc (Level 75) will come flying in and My Arm will get scared and tell you to kill it before it eats the Hardy Goutweed. Kill the Roc.
- A Level 172 Giant Roc will then appear. You must kill it. Throughout the course of the fight, the Roc will knock you backwards with Gust attacks. To counteract this, use Ranged attacks on the Roc, so you can hit it from anywhere.

- Now talk to My Arm. The Goutweed is ready to be harvested! Give My Arm your Spade. He will harvest the Goutweed and gain a Farming Level.
- Go tell Burntmeat that you guys are done. He'll give you a splendid reward for your efforts!
- For your real reward, speak with My Arm again.
