Pirate's Treasure Quest Guide

By: XxTearGodxX and Tweedy

Edited By: King Zonk and Whydidijoin

Coded By: King Zonk, Whydidijoin and Sherbros

Requirements: None

Items Needed:
  1. Spade
  2. White Apron
  3. 60 Gold Pieces

Note: There is a Spade respawn in the House east of the Falador Furnace and White Aprons can be purchased for two Gold Pieces from the Clothes Shop in Varrock.

Starting Point: Speak to Redbeard Frank on the northern Port Sarim Docks.

  1. Talk to Redbeard Frank and tell him you are in search of Treasure. He will offer to tell you the location of some Pirate Treasure for a Bottle of Karamja Rum.

When you accept his price, he will caution you about the Karamja Customs Officials and how they don't tolerate the export of Spirits.

  2. Journey to the southern side of the Docks and pay one of the three Sailors thirty Gold Pieces to take you by Ship to Karamja.

  3. Once on the Island, buy a Bottle of Karamja Rum for thirty Gold Pieces from Zambo's Karamja Wines, Spirits, and Beers Store.

  4. You now need to smuggle the Rum off Karamja and back to Redbeard Frank. Speak to Luthas in the House to the northeast of Zambo. Ask for employment picking Bananas and storing them in the Crate outside.

  5. Pick ten Bananas from the Banana Trees to the west of Luthas. Return to the Crate and store all of the Bananas along with the Bottle of Karamja Rum inside it.

  6. Speak to Luthas again and he will pay you thirty Gold Pieces for filling up the Crate. If you ask him where the Crate is heading, he will say that it is sent to a small Shop in Port Sarim run by Wydin (the Food Shop).

  7. Speak to the Customs Officials and pay thirty Gold Pieces to return to Port Sarim.

  8. Go to the Food Shop to the east and attempt to open the Door to the back of the Shop. Wydin will stop you and explain that only Employees can enter.

Ask to become an Employee and if you have a White Apron, you will be accepted.

  9. In the back of the Shop, search the Crate with a Banana on the top to retrieve your Karamja Rum.

  10. Speak again to Redbeard Frank and he will tell you that the Chest with the Treasure is in the Blue Moon Inn in Varrock. He will also give you a Chest Key to open the Chest.

  11. Travel to Varrock to the Blue Moon Inn just south of the General Store. Climb up the Staircase and head to the westernmost Room containing a locked Chest.

  12. Use the Chest Key on the Chest to find a Pirate Message. Read the Message; it directs you to Falador Garden.

  13. Inside the Falador Gardens, go to the centre of the 'X' shown below (just to the west of the Statue of Saradomin).

  14. Using your Spade, dig the Ground. A level 4 Gardener will appear and attack you.

  15. Kill the Gardener and dig the same spot again to retrieve One Eyed Hector's Casket.
