Starting Point: Speak to Duke Horacio of Lumbridge on the second floor of the Lumbridge Castle.

Talk to Duke Horacio and accept his request to take an Air Talisman to the Head Wizard Sedrigor for further examination.
Head Wizard Sedrigor can be found in the Basement of the Wizard's Tower. He is surprised at the Air Talisman and he believes it could be a missing link to unearthing something practiced by the ancient Magicians of RuneScape (Runecrafting). He will ask you to take a Research Package containing his research on Runecrafting to Aubury in Varrock.
Aubury can be found in a House south of the Varrock East Bank, which is circled in red on the Map.

Explain to him that you have been sent with a Research Package from Sedrigor. He will then ask for a few moments to look over the Package, wait a few seconds before talking to him again. He will give you his Research Notes to return to Sedrigor.
Hand over the Research Notes to Sedrigor. After a long speech by Sedrigor, he will return to you the Air Talisman and the Quest will be completed.
