• Must have completed Jungle Potion Quest
• Must have completed Big Chompy Bird Hunting Quest
• Must be able to defeat a Level 111 Monster.

• Carry some Food, just in case your Health becomes low.
• In the first part of the Quest, Monsters are not that tough yet.
• Carry a Ring of Dueling if you have one.
• Amour/Weapons is recommended if your Combat Level is below 89 because of the Level 44 Monsters.
• Watchtower Teleport Runes are also recommended.

A Ring of Dueling will be useful here. Talk to and ask Grish about the Stickies (second choice in the talk dialog). Tell him you will help him out and he gives you Three Chompies and two Stat Restoration Potions.

Head into the Caves East of where Grish is. Near the Entrance, talk to the Guard, and he will let you in. Climb over the Crushed Barricade and head deeper into the Cave until the end. Here there are three Coffins and a flight of Stairs going down. Head down the Stairs.

Searching the Coffins gives Items like Gold Pieces, Iron Pickaxe, Bronze Axe, Rusty Swords, etc, and new--Ancient Bones; Zogre Bones (22.5 Experience), Raurg Bones (46 Experience), Fayrg Bones (84 Experience), and Ourg Bones (140 Experience).

The Plague

Second Level of the Caves:

There will be 'damage' received when you have prolonged exposure down there. It randomly drains a Stat. The Stat Restoration Potions from Grish are useful here. There are Skogres (44), Zombie Ogres (44), and Skeletons (39) down here.

Head to the Northwest into a Chamber with multiple Coffins and a Charred Area. The Cinematics will play. Search the Skeleton near the Entrance, a Level 39 Zombie will appear, kill it, and it will drop a Ruined Backpack. Open the Backpack and you will receive a Tankard, Rotten Food and a Knife.



Search the Broken Lectern, the Stone Structure the Skeleton is lying against, finding a Torn Page.

You can Picklock the Coffins and get various Bones, Tinderbox, Gold Pieces, etc. If you fail to unlock the Coffin, Spores will be released, and you will be plagued.

Open the only Coffin that has the 'search' Option to it. Use the Knife on it and then open it. You may fail and it will lower your Strength. Use the Stat Restoration Potion given to you by Grish. Try again until you lift the Lid off. You will receive a Black Prism.

Sithik Ints and His Plot



Go to Yanille and use the Tankard with the Bartender, Southwest of the City. He will tell you about the Tankard and the User, who was probably the Skeleton you killed earlier.

Go to the Magic Guild, and Ring the Bell in front of it. Zavistic Rarve will talk to you. He'll tell you to go talk to Sithik Ints. He is located on the Second Floor of the Building that is North of the Magic Guild. Climb via the Ladder.



Talk to Sithik who is on the Bed in the Room down the Hall. Search the Cupboards and Wardrobe for Books (Torn Necromancer Book, Book on Portraits, and HAM Book). Search for Charcoal and Papyrus by searching the Drawer. Use the Papyrus on Sithik. This will draw a Portrait of him. If you fail to draw a good Picture, search the Drawer again for more Papyrus.

Go to the back Bartender to have the Portrait signed. The Bartender will acknowledge that he witnessed Sithik Ints Meeting with his Customer.

Go back to Zavistic Rarve and talk about your findings. He will give you a Potion that will turn Sithik into an Ogre and force him to reveal his Plot. Go back to Sithik and use the Potion on his Tea Cup on the Drawer. Go back to Zavistic Rarve to tell him you have put the Potion in his Drink.

Go back to Sithik. Talk to him and ask him about his Plot.

Now head to the Bank. This Quest requires you to use the new Bows and Arrows. You can use a Halberd on the 'Boss' but he disappears after about two minutes into combat. Take out four Bars of any kind of Ore and make 60 Nails by using the Bars on an Anvil, South of the bank. They will be the Heads of the brutal Arrows. Go back to the Bank again.

Equip your Ranging Amour. Take out 1 Bowstring, 1 Hatchet, 1 Knife, 1 Hammer, 60 Nails, about 120 Feathers and a Ring of Dueling (recommended). Leave about four empty slots in your Inventory and fill the rest of the space with Food. Head back to the Area near Grish, South of Castle Wars.

The Final Battle

Look for the Achey Trees South of the Cave. Cut about two Logs off the Achey Tree. You will need Wolf Bones to make the Bow. There are Wolves located Southeast of the Achey Trees. Kill one and pick up the Bones. Use the Knife on the Logs and make a composite Bow.

Cut some more Achey Trees to make Brutal Arrows. Use the Knife on the Logs to make the Shafts. Feather the Shafts, then use the Nails on the Feathered Shafts. Make about 60 Brutal Arrows.

After you've made the Arrows and Bow, talk to Grish. He will give you a Key and request you to retrieve an Artifact so they can move the Ceremonial Grounds to another location.

Short Cut:

Pick the Locks on the Coffins just South of the Cave Entrance. Make sure the Guard sees you and get yourself knocked out. You will find yourself in the Chamber Downstairs.



OR

Long Cut:

Head into the Cave, cross the Barricades, go through the Cave, and go Downstairs. Once you are Downstairs, head West until you see some Doors. Go through those Doors and down a second flight of Stairs.

Slash Bash:

Slash Bash (Level 111) will appear when you search the Stand. He uses Melee and Range.

Chamber:

Walk into the large Chamber to the East side. Look for a 'Stand' near the end by some Bones. Stand between the Bones and 'stand'. Like so:



Search the Stand when you are ready to fight. Slash-Bash will appear. Range him with your Bow and Arrows. It took me approximately forty Arrows with 71 Range. He did a maximum damage of eleven on me with his Spit.

Once you have killed him, he will drop two Zogre Bones, three Ourg Bones and the Artifact. Go back to Grish by going back up or Teleport to Castle Wars. Talk to him.

Congratulations! Quest Complete!
