Pyramid Agility Course

The Agility Pyramid is an Agility Course designed for People with mid-level Agility. It can be found between the desert Towns of Nardah and Sophanem.

Recommended/Required Items:

To make sure you can fully enjoy the new Agility Course, you should have at least 30 Agility (obviously higher is better).
  • Desert Clothing: Desert Clothes protect you from the Desert heat.
  • Boots of Lightness: You weigh less so you can run for longer.
  • Some Money (around 500 Gold Pieces). You will need Money for Waterskins, Magic Carpet rides and a Shantay Pass.
  • Food: Around 5-8 pieces of Food for when you miss the Obstacles and get damaged.
  • Choc-Ice: Choc-Ice is a combination of Food and Waterskins, which can be helpful and heals 7 Hit Points.
  • Waterskins: Around 8-10 is recommended, however more might be needed depending on how long you wish to stay at the Course.
NOTE: The Desert heat will affect you when doing the Agility Course.

Getting Started:

Now that you have all the necessary Equipment you can head to the Shantay Pass. Buy yourself a Ticket there (if you don't already have one) and walk over to the Magic Carpet Manager. First, take a Carpet ride from the Shantay Pass to Pollnivneach. Next, walk or run south towards the southern Carpet Stall in Pollnivneach and take a Magic Carpet ride to Nardah. Nardah is a great place because it has a Bank where you can withdraw more Food or Waterskins when you need them. From Nardah, head south until you come to a large Pit with a Giant Pyramid inside. Climb off the Cliff (located on the western side) and head towards Simon Templeton.

Climbing the Pyramid:

Simon Templeton will tell you he is looking for the Artifacts located at the top of the Agility Pyramid. He will ask you to retrieve those Artifacts. The Pyramid is divided into several stages. Your goal is to reach the next set of Stairs. Every level of the Pyramid will contain several Traps to test your mastery of the Agility Skill. Once you reach the top of the Pyramid, climb the Rocks (don't forget this!) and grab hold of the Artifact. The Artifact is a Golden Pyramid Top.

Finishing the Course:

Once you have the Golden Pyramid Top, go through to the Doors at the top of the Pyramid. You will be down at the bottom again, near Simon Templeton. Give him your Artifact and he will give you 1,000 Gold Pieces for it. The Artifact cannot be sold to the Varrock Museum. If you want more Agility Experience; just climb the Stairs again, and make another run to the top. If you want to know the locations of all the Traps; look at the Map below.

Experience Rewards

The Agility Pyramid is divided into several Floors and has multiple Traps. The Agility Pyramid Course gives an average of 20,000 Agility Experience an hour. You will receive 1,014 Experience for completing the Pyramid without falling.
If you do fall, you will receive additional Experience for the Obstacles that you must redo, however the time it will take to finish is extended.

Wilderness Agility Course

The Wilderness Agility Course is an Agility Course open to Members who have Level 52 in Agility. It is located deep in Level 50-56 Wilderness, past the Member Gate.

This is generally the fastest and best way to gain Agility Levels. The Course is located in the far northwest corner of the Wilderness. You can go west from the Mage Arena Bank or the Ardougne Teleport Lever.

When you fail the Obstacles you will lose a percentage of your remaining Hit Points. With this in mind, Food is a good idea, perhaps Cake so that if you do get killed, the Person who did it does not get anything valuable. This is not a hot spot for Player Killers, but occasionally they show up when they are low on Food. The trick is to keep your Hit Points low though, so don't start eating as soon as you fail an Obstacle.

For Example: When you have 70 Hitpoints, you may lose 14 Hitpoints from failing, but with only 40 Hitpoints you will lose around 8 Hitpoints from falling. Just remember not to go too low, as that makes you an easy target for Player Killers.

Obstacles:

To enter the Course, you must cross a Bridge, for which you will receive 15 Experience. If failed, you will fall down the side of the Hill. The White Wolves on the sides are Level 38 and aggressive.

NOTE: The Agility icon is where you will enter.
  1. Tube (12.5 Experience)

  2. Rope (20 Experience)

NOTE: If you fail this Obstacle, you will fall into a Spike Pit, taking damage.

  3. Rock Jump (20 Experience)

NOTE: If you fail this Obstacle, you will fall into the Lava, taking damage.

  4. Log (20 Experience)

NOTE: If you fail this Obstacle, you will fall into a Spike Pit, taking damage.

  5. Rock Climb (20 Experience)

In addition to the Experience given by the Obstacles, you will receive a bonus of 499 Experience upon completing the Course Lap. The total for completing the entire Course, in order, from Start to Finish is 571.5 Experience.

Spike Pit:

This is the Spike Pit that you'll fall into if you fail the Rope or Log Obstacles. It contains numerous Skeletons, ranging from Level 6 to 31, which are aggressive.

Lycanthrope Agility Course (Morytania)

The Lycanthrope Agility Course is an Agility Course open to Members who have Level 60 in Agility. You must have completed the Creature of Fenkenstrain Quest, and must wear the Ring of Charos (Received after Finishing the Quest) in order to enter it. The Course is located in Morytania, just east of Canifis.

The Agility Course begins west of the Ladder by the Agility Boss.
  1. Five Stones. (10 Experience each)

  2. Three sets of Hurdles. (20 Experience each)

  3. Pipe. (15 Experience)

NOTE: After passing through the Pipe, retrieve the stick on the ground. This allows you to receive extra Experience upon completing the Course.

  4. Skull Slope (25 Experience)

  5. Zip Line (200 Experience if successful, 140 Experience if failed)

WARNING: You can lose up to 30 Hit Points by falling.
Upon completing the Course lap, give the Stick to the Agility Trainer. You will receive a 190 Experience bonus for doing so. The total for successfully completing the entire Course, in order, from Start to Finish, is 540 Experience. If the Zip Line was failed, the total will be 480 Experience.

Penguin Agility Course

Requirements:
  • Must have completed Cold War quest.
  • Have a penguin suit
  • 30 Agility
Recommended Items:

Getting to the Course:

Make your way to the Docks north of Rellekka, near the Rock Crabs. You may either use Fairy Ring code DKS (A Fairy Tale Part II required) or the Enchanted Lyre to greatly reduce the travel time.

Quick ways to travel to the docks:

When you arrive at the Docks you'll see a Man named Larry. Click the "Travel" option on him, and he'll take you to the Iceberg on his boat. When you arrive, you will see Larry once again. With the Penguin Suit in your inventory, right click Larry and click the option "Tuxedo-time". You will then turn into a Penguin.

Head northwest until you see an avalanche. When you arrive at the avalanche, click the "Use" option. After going through the avalanche, you'll enter the Penguin Lair. Head north until the first door to the west.

Enter the door and proceed down the room, past a KPG Agent, then enter through another door. Proceed down the hall until you arrive at another door. Open the door, and you'll enter a cutscene watching an army of Penguins doing workouts.

The Course:

Head north past the Penguins until you arrive at the starting line of the Penguin Agility Course.

Jump into the water to begin the course!

First up are the Crushers. Move past them to advance. They move back and forth and can inflict four damage if failed. (55 Experience)

After the Crushers, comes the Stepping Stones. Jump from each Stepping Stone to the next. If you fail, you may receive up to three damage. (80 Experience)

Once you are done with the Stepping Stones, you'll end up on land. Follow the light colored white path until you come to Iicles lying on the ground. Click the "Tread-softly" option to pass through the Icicles. If you fail, an Icicle can cause up to two damage. You must pass through four Icicles. (40 Experience x 4 Icicles = 160 Experience)

After the Icicles, comes the Ice Slope. Click on the "Cross Ice" option to climb up the Ice Slope. If you fail the Ice Slope, you will receive two damage. (180 Experience)

Upon arrival at the top of the Ice Slope, you will begin sliding down the Hill! (65 Experience Bonus)

When you arrive at the bottom, you will have completed the course. (540 Experience Total)

Exit through the Gate to your west to restart the course and then head north.

Alternative Training

Gnomeball

Gnomeball is a Mini-Game that trains Agility, however, it is poor Experience and is really more for fun than serious training. The Course is located on the western side of the Tree Gnome Stronghold. Upon entering, the Referee will give you a Ball. Gnomeball is a simple Game; take the Ball and shoot it through the Hoop at the opposite end of the Field. Along the way, you can pass to other Gnomes on your Team and tackle opposing Gnomes so that they do not steal the Ball, or to get the Ball back if they do.

On the Field, you have a few Options:
  • Shoot: This will make you shoot at the Goal. If you score, the Cheerleaders will go wild, and you get a Point.
  • Pass: This will allow you to pass to the Gnomes that are part of your Team, as you run past them they will pass back to you unless they are tackled.
  • Tackle: This will allow you to tackle a Gnome, which will stun them for a few seconds so you have a clean Goal shot. You also tackle opposing Gnomes when they have the Ball to get it back.
For each Goal you score you get Experience. After five Goals, you win the Match and earn a total of 52 Agility Experience.

After winning you can also take the Gnomeball out of the Field where you can play catch with your Friends. To pass to a Friend, simply use the Gnome Ball on them. Be sure that they do not have a Weapon equipped, or it will not let you pass.

Brimhaven Agility Arena

The Brimhaven Agility Arena is an alternative to training at the other Courses. As some Obstacles require 40 Agility, it is not recommended to come here before Level 40. The Arena Entrance is in the House of Brimhaven just north of the Gate dividing Members from Non-Members.

Inside the House you will find:
  • Cap'n Izzy No-Beard: Here you can purchase your Entrance Tickets. The Entrance Fee is 200 Gold Pieces.
  • Pirate Jackie the Fruit: He exchanges your Agility Tickets for Prizes
It is advised to bring good Food and Teleport Runes or Items. The main purpose of this Arena is to follow a blinking Arrow. It will be red if the Tag Dispenser is still a bit away, and it will turn yellow when the Dispenser is visible on your Mini-Map.

All you have to do is follow the Arrow to the Ticket Dispensers.

A couple things to keep in mind about Tickets:

  • You can only get a Ticket from the second Dispenser you tag.
  • You do not need to tag a Dispenser more than once for a Ticket.
  • You can only get one Ticket from each Dispenser.
  • The more Tickets you gather, the better Prizes you can get.
  • To claim a Prize, exchange your Tickets for Rewards with Pirate Jackie the Fruit in the House where the Entrance is.
Prizes:
  • Agility Experience:

    1 240 Agility Experience
    10 2,480 Agility Experience
    25 6,500 Agility Experience
    100 28,000 Agility Experience
    1,000 320,000 Agility Experience

  • Herbs:

    3 Toadflax
    10 Snapdragon

  • Other:

    800 Pirate Hook

Obstacles:
  • Balancing Ledge (16 Experience)
  • Balancing Rope (10 Experience)
  • Blades (0 Experience, 20 Agility required)
  • Darts (30 Experience, 40 Agility required)
  • Floor Spikes (24 Experience, often failed)
  • Hand Holds (22 Experience, 20 Agility required)
  • Log Balance (12 Experience)
  • Low Wall (8 Experience)
  • Monkey Bars (14 Experience)
  • Pillars (18 Experience)
  • Planks (6 Experience)
  • Pressure Pad (26 Experience)
  • Rope Swing (20 Experience)
  • Spinning Blades (28 Experience, 40 Agility required)
All of these Obstacles can be failed. Higher Agility reduces the chance of failure. Whenever you fail some of these Obstacles, your Agility Level will be decreased. If your Level falls below the requirement for an Obstacle, you'll have to go around it. This takes more time, thus reducing the number of Tickets you can get.

Yanille Agility Dungeon

Located just north of Yanille, the Agility Dungeon is not exactly a place for training Agility. Instead it is a Dungeon used mainly for Combat and Herblore Training that just requires high Agility to go through. Level 40 Agility is required.

By the end of the Dungeon Level 67 Agility is required. The Entrance to the Dungeon has Spider Webs in the way, so you will need a Weapon to slash them open. A variety of Monsters can be found in the Dungeon, including Chaos Druids, which are great for Herblore Training.

WARNING: You can also find a Chaos Altar here, however, if you pray at it you will fall into a Pit of aggressive Poison Spiders.

You can also fall crossing the Monkey Bars, so an Anti-Poison Potion is a must. If you do fall, run to the nearby Staircase to escape the Poison Spiders.

The Obstacles in this Course are:
  • Balancing Ledge (Level 40 Agility to cross, 23 Agility Experience)
  • Obstacle Pipe (Level 49 to squeeze through, 7 Agility Experience)
  • Monkey Bars (Level 57 to swing across, 20 Agility Experience)
  • Pile of Rubble (Level 67 to climb, 5 Agility Experience)
The Sinister Chest:

'Salarian the Twisted' can be found at the end of the Dungeon, on the northeastern side. He can only be harmed by Strike Spells (Level 1 to 13 Magic). There is a chance that he will drop a 'Sinister Key'. This Key is used to open the Chest in the Skeleton Room. When you open the Chest with the Key, you will get Poisoned, so an Anti-Poison Potion is recommended.

The Sinister Chest contains 9 Herbs:
  • 1 Torstol
  • 1 Kwuarm
  • 1 Avantoe
  • 1 Irit Leaf
  • 3 Ranarr Weed
  • 2 Harralander
Skullball Agility Arena

Skullball is a Mini-Game which trains Agility. It is located down the Trapdoor, in between Canifis and Port Phasmatys, opposite of Lycanthrope's Agility Course.

Requirements:
The concept of the game is fairly straightforward. Tell the Skullball Boss that you would like to do the Course. The Skullball will appear out of one of four Spawn Holes, all located relatively close together. The Ball will have a yellow arrow over it.

There will be 4 Options to choose from on the Ball:
  • Tap: Will move the Ball 1 square.
  • Kick: Will move the Ball 4 squares.
  • Shoot: Will move the Ball 9 squares.
  • Show-Goal: Will temporarily move the flashing yellow arrow from the Ball to the current Goal you need to get the Ball through.
There are 10 Goals that you must get your Skullball through to complete the Course. They must be scored upon in order. To score, line your shot up with the Skeleton's Legs, and shoot, kick, or tap it in.

After scoring on those 10 Goals, you must finally shoot the Ball into the Hole to claim your Reward.

Your Agility Experience reward is based upon how fast you complete the Course. The faster you are, the more Experience you receive.
