Introduction

Having certain Slayer Levels allows you to kill certain Slayer Monsters. In this Skill, you have to talk with one of the five Slayer Masters. I will talk about them later on in this Guide. The Slayer Masters give you various assignments. Every time you kill a Monster that is assigned, you will get Slayer Experience. If two or more People are killing the Monster, then the one that did the most damage, and the last Hit will get the Experience. So only up to two People can get the Experience. Most of the time, you get Experience equal to the Hit Points of the Monster. That is not always true however. For example, Trolls have 91 Hit Points, but they give 90 Slayer Experience.

Slayer Masters

There are five Slayer Masters spread throughout Runescape. They each assign different difficulties of Monsters. They can assign anything from ten Red Spiders to 200 Steel Dragons. The Burthorpe Slayer Master is the easiest and the Shilo Village Slayer Master is the hardest. If you get an Assignment you don't like, you can get a new one by talking to the Burthorpe Slayer Master. Each Slayer Master has their own selection of Monsters to assign. The higher the Master, the greater quantity and strength of the assigned Monsters. The Slayer Masters assign both normal Monsters and Slayer Monsters, which is explained later on in the Guide. Also every Slayer Master sells Slayer Items. These Items are used to kill certain Slayer Monsters. Below is all of the Slayer Master information.

Slayer Monsters

Along with all the great stuff included in the new Skill, are some brand new Monsters. Each Monster has a different Slayer Level requirement. The Slayer Level needed ranges from 5 to 90. Not to mention, each Monster has a unique drop or two. You can get Slayer Monsters as Slayer Assignments as well, and some of the Slayer Monsters are the best Assignments you can get. For instance, Bloodvelds are my overall favorite Slayer Assignment because of low Level and high Hit Points.

To access some Monsters you will need to do a Mini-Quest. To be able to access Dark Beasts you must have started the Mourning's End Part II quest. To be able to kill Fever Spiders you must have started the Rum Deal quest. To be able to kill Mogres you must do a small inquest first. To start this inquest you must speak to Skippy, you can find him walking along the Coastline south of Rimmington. It is your job to sober him up before he will speak to you, luckily this is a simple task. To completely sober him up you must bring him three Items, A Bucket of Water, some Nettle Tea and a Hangover Cure. The Hangover Cure is made by mixing Snape Grass with Chocolate Milk, for the Nettle Tea recipe please refer to the Cooking Guide

In the information below I will list the Monster's name, location, Slayer Level needed, Monster Level, Item needed to kill it (if any), fighting hints, and drop.
