NOTE: This is a very dangerous Monster, so do not bring anything you are not prepared to lose! Gravestones do not work in this area and you only have 120 seconds to retrieve your items upon death.
Requirements: 5-10: 90+ Hitpoints 85+ Attack/Strength/Defense 75+ Prayer 90+ Ranged (only if you use this method) 10-20 80+ Hitpoints 80+ Attack/Strength/Defense 60+ Prayer 70+ Ranged You may effectively kill the Corporeal Beast with lesser combat levels and subsequently a larger team. These are merely the recommended levels. The Beast
Location The Beast is located in the cavern which you fought it in during the "Summer's End" Quest. The quickest way to get to the beast is to use a Games Necklace teleport to Bounty Hunter and from there run east and then north to the cavern. Once in the cavern simply head east through the first and second areas. The third passage will lead you to the Beast. Equipment If you attack with melee... Black dragon body and legs Neitiznot helmet Barrows Gloves Dragon Boots Fury Wealth / Berzerker ring Zamorak Spear / Dragon Spear / Dragon Long (stab) - rune defender Fire Cape In regard to weapons, the Zamorak Spear has become hugely popular and is the iconic weapon now, however it only has 85 stab, compared to the 78 provided by the dragon long paired with a rune defender (a valid alternative to those not wishing to spend a huge amount of money). If you attack with Range... Black dragon body and legs Archer Helm Barrows Gloves Ranger Boots Fury Wealth / Ranger ring Rune Cross bow / Crystal bow Ruby Bolts Fire Cape Ruby bolts are the best bolts to start with as the special may hit 100 damage. Once the beast is on a lower health alternative bolts may be preferable, such as broad bolts. Inventory: 6 Saradonim Brews (optional) 6 Prayer Potions Alot of sharks of high end food Emergency Teleport You may also bring a cannon, but by no means is this a necessity. NOTE: Do not bring summons, the monster will devour them and replenish its health. Tactics When you team is ready, put on Protect from Magic. The warriors should form a tight ring around the beast while the archers spread out in a larger ring. The beast will target one person at a time, so if you are targeted run towards the beast and under it to break its lock. DO NOT try to withstand the attack! Occasionally, the beast will release a dark core and attack players. The damage it does will replenish the beasts HP so it is a high priority for you to kill them.
