Serum 208:

Before you attempt to obtain Splitbark Armour you must have completed the Shades of Mort’ ton Quest.
After the Quest you will want to change your Serum 207 into Serum 208. This Potion will cure the Store Owner and Apothecary Permanently, this is a must if you want to get your Splitbark Armour yourself.

To actually make Serum 208 you must get your Sanctity up to 20% while building the Temple, once your at 20% use the normal Serum 207 on the Flame.

You will now have a Serum 208

Resources, Sanctity, and Repair State:

Since you have finished the Shades of Mort’ ton Quest you will know the basics of building the Temple, but lets go over them again. As soon as you enter the area where the Temple is to be built you will see the following stats in the upper right corner of your screen.

Lets go over these stats one by one.

Resources:
To get this stat up higher requires the following items: 1 Hammer, 5 Swamp Paste, 1 Plank and 1 Limestone Brick. All of these are sold in the General/Building Shop in Mort’ ton. When you have these items with you, click on the Repair/Reinforce Option at the Temple and your Character will automatically Store the items giving you 5% Resources. This can be repeated until you’re 100%.

Instead of using a Hammer is recommended you use the Flamtaer Hammer:     This Hammer is sold in the General Store in Mort’ ton for 10,000 Gold Pieces, it greatly increases the speed in which the Temple is built. So if you’re planning on some long-term Temple building this item is a must have.

Sanctity:
Sanctity is raised by building the Temple or by killing the Loar Shades around the Temple. Your Character receives 9 Crafting Experience each time it fixes the Temple. Naturally when you fight the Shades you will not receive the Crafting Experience, you will receive Combat Experience and 2 Sanctity Points for each Shade killed.

Repair State:
This number represents the percentage of the Temple that has been completed. At 100% you will be able to light the Flame. To light it you will need a Tinderbox and 10% Sanctity, since you require a group of People to build the Temple it’s best to build it on World 2 as you will almost always be able to find a group of People there.

That’s it for the basics, lets move on.

    Cloths

This is what we are here for, the Fine Cloths. These are found in locked Chests inside the Shades Lair, to unlock them you will need a Key. The Keys are made from four different kinds of Metal and come in fives colors each, that means 20 different Chests and Keys. To actually get these Keys you will need to burn Shade remains in the Pyres, doing so will give you a Key, Coins or nothing at all. Burning different types of Shades will get you different kinds of Keys, however they require different types of Pyred Logs as well.

Here are the Metals from lowest to highest: Bronze, Steel, Black, Silver.
And here are the colors from lowest to highest: Brown, Red, Crimson, Black, Purple.
You can get a Fine Cloth from any Chest, but the higher the Chest the higher the chance.

The Logs:
To create Pyred Logs you must use Sacred Oil on the Log type, Sacred Oil is made by blessing Olive Oil on the Temple Flame. Olive Oil can be bought in the Mort’ ton General Store and requires 10% Sanctity to bless. The Olive Oil is sold in (3) three dose units but before blessing them it comes in handy if you mix them into (4) four dose units, this speeds up the process.

Below you will find all the information you need on Pyre Logs.

    Bark:

Bark is the second 'Ingredient' for Splitbark Armour, luckily it’s also quite easy to collect. The only requirement is 45 Woodcutting and you should be able to handle the Level 72 Vampires and Level 42 Leeches in the area.

Bark can be found at the red circle by chopping the Hollow Trees there:

Making the Armour:

Now that we have the Ingredients, let’s go make some Armour! Creating it is simple, on the second Floor of the Wizard’s Tower you will find a Wizard in Splitbark Armour. Speak with him and he will create the Armour, for a price.

Below you will find the all the information you need on the Armour.
