Aviansies are Level 69-148 monsters in the God Wars Dungeon found in and around Armadyl's Eyrie. They offer very good drops as well as decent Ranged experience. They cannot be attacked with melee. Their Ranged attack can hit hard, but if you are well prepared it can be easily managed. Also, since they wear ranging Armour, they naturally have high defence against Magic.

Aviansies are Levels 69, 71 73, 79, 83, 89, 131, 137, and 148. If you are wearing an Armadyl item they will attack you. Otherwise they will not. They are not poisonous. All their drops can be found here.

Tanking
There are two popular strategies when killing Aviansies, the first of which is tanking. This involves wearing armor with a good defence bonus, eating when your health is low, and using the bones to peaches spell on their bones when your food is low. You may also want to take some Ranging Potions instead of Monkfish.  Praying The second strategy involves wearing armor with a Prayer bonus and simply using the Protect from Missiles prayer, and drinking a dose of Prayer Potion when your prayer gets low. This is a reasonable way to attack them if you don't have a Defence level of 70 or above. However, if you do have 70+ Defence I'd recommend using the tanking method.  How To Kill Them To kill them, run into the the Armadyl sections of the God Wars dungeon. Then stand between three Aviansies next to the entrance to Armadyl's Eyrie. If you are not going to enter the Eyrie I suggest killing them here. Sometimes it can become busy so you may have to run north to find more. |

You need to have started the Troll Stronghold Quest and have killed Dad.

To get to the God Wars dungeon you need to either use the Troll Stronghold Teleport spell and run down the maze.
As shown below, make sure you use the Protect from Range prayer going past the trolls. Another way to get in would be to go though the Sherpa's house, past Dad, and through the tunnel occupied by trolls. Then run around the circular maze past the trolls that throw rocks at you (use Protect from Range on them). Then go north to where you see white ice on your Minimap.  Push the rock out of the way and run past the ice wolves (use Protect from Melee here). Then run down into the dungeon. Once inside, run south to Armadyl's Eyrie and you should see the Aviansies flying above the ground.  |

A: No. Q: What do they drop? A: A full drop list can be found in the appropriate database entry. Q: How long would a trip take? A: On average the length of a trip with the Bones to Peaches spell and the tanking method can take weeks, but you would usually stay there for about four hours.
