Introduction

Welcome to Lunar Isle, home of the Moonclan. This island is very popular due to its convenient Rune Shop and its Astral Altar (Of which grants players the use of the Lunar Spellbook, and the ability to craft Astral Runes, given that they've completed the Lunar Diplomacy quest).

This city is accessible only after reaching a certain point in the Lunar Diplomacy quest. You must have your Seal of Passage on you at all times, be it equipped or within your inventory, or else speaking to anyone will result in you being teleported back to Rellekka.

There are two methods of reaching Lunar Isle. These are:
  1. If your Spellbook is currently set to Lunar Magics, you can simply teleport to the island.

  2. On the docks of Rellekka, there is a man by the name of Lokar Searunner. If you speak with him, he will take you to Pirate Cove, assuming that you meet the requirements and have your Seal of Passage on you. Once at Pirate Cove, you will have to speak to Captain Bentley and he will take you to the island. If you have not yet reached this point in the quest, you will have to remove the jinx cast upon the ship before you will be able to venture to Lunar Isle.
Warning: Roaming around all over the island are Level 111 Suqahs. Although the Suqahs, which wield two swords fight strictly with Melee, the other Suqahs are capable of casting both Water Wave and Ice Blitz. For this reason, it is recommended that you wear Dragon Hide Armor whenever wandering around the isle.

  1. The Boat

This is the large boat that will take you to Lunar Isle while doing Lunar Diplomacy. It is, much like the common Pirate Ship, pretty large and equipped with a few cannons. You don't have anything else to do here besides finding the jinxes during the quest, so let's continue on.

  2. The Bank

Near the entrance gate to the city of the Moonclan, you will find the bank. Banking will require you to have your Seal of Passage with you, just like everything else within this city; That is, unless you've done the Dream Mentor quest. If you have completed the Dream Mentor quest, you may bank without the need of having your Seal of Passage on hand by speaking with Bird's Eye Jack.

This bank is a quiet place to do skills such as Herblore or Fletching, as the Lunar Isle is not commonly visited by other players.

  3. The Clothing Shop

Here is where you can buy the garments worn by the Moonclan folks. Rimae Sirsalis is the owner of this shop and will gladly sell some magical clothing to any adventurer who is willing to pay her asking price.

    Item Picture Price
    Moonclan Tiara 1,000 Gold Pieces
    Moonclan Hat 1,000 Gold Pieces
    Moonclan Top 1,000 Gold Pieces
    Moonclan Skirt 1,000 Gold Pieces
    Moonclan Gloves 900 Gold Pieces
    Moonclan Shoes 900 Gold Pieces
    Moonclan Cape 200 Gold Pieces
    Needle 1 Gold Piece
    Thread 4 Gold Pieces

  4. The General Store

Much like nearly every city in RuneScape, Lunar Isle has a General Store. The shop is owned by Melana Moonlander.

    Item Picture Price
    Pot 1 Gold Piece
    Jug 1 Gold Piece
    Shears 1 Gold Piece
    Bucket 2 Gold Pieces
    Bowl 4 Gold Pieces
    Cake Tin 10 Gold Pieces
    Tinderbox 1 Gold Piece
    Chisel 1 Gold Piece
    Hammer 1 Gold Piece
    Security Book 2 Gold Pieces

  5. The Ceremonial Brazier

You will need to light this while doing both the Lunar Diplomacy and Dream Mentor quests. It really has no other uses, though you pyromaniacs out there can always just light it for the simple sake of watching it burn.

  6. Yaga Baba's Rune Store/House on Legs

This may be of the strangest, yet most useful, feature on the isle. A bit north of the Bank will be a moving house on two chicken feet. When you enter, there will be Yaga Baba, who is the owner of a Rune Shop.

    Item Picture Price
    Air Rune 4 Gold Pieces
    Water Rune 4 Gold Pieces
    Earth Rune 4 Gold Pieces
    Fire Rune 4 Gold Pieces
    Mind Rune 3 Gold Pieces
    Body Rune 3 Gold Pieces
    Chaos Rune 90 Gold Pieces
    Nature Rune 120 Gold Pieces
    Death Rune 180 Gold Pieces
    Law Rune 240 Gold Pieces
    Blood Rune 400 Gold Pieces
    Soul Rune 300 Gold Pieces
    Astral Rune 50 Gold Pieces
    Battle Staff 7,000 Gold Pieces
    Fire Staff 1,500 Gold Pieces
    Water Staff 1,500 Gold Pieces
    Air Staff 1,500 Gold Pieces
    Earth Staff 1,500 Gold Pieces
    Moonclan Manual 1 Gold Piece

  7. The Mines

In the northeast section of the island is a dungeon leading to a mine. This mine contains one Rune Essence rock in the middle, seven Gold Rocks, five Silver Rocks, and four Gem Rocks. Only the Rune Essence rock and the Gem Rocks are the hot-spots of the mine. Near the entrance of the mine, there is a small crevice that takes you the starting point of the Dream Mentor quest.

  8. The Astral Altar

Here is the final feature; The Astral Altar. Not only can you craft Astral Runes here, but praying at the alter will result in you either activating or deactivating the Lunar Spellbook. Also, the Oneiromancer will sell you your back your Lunar attire if you somehow lose it, although it will cost a pretty pricey sum of Gold Pieces.

Conclusion

I hope you enjoyed this guide, and hope that it will aid you the next time you plan to head to Lunar Isle. Enjoy your time with the people of the Moonclan!
